We ate here recently, the atmosphere was fabulous, the service was excellent and the food was authentic and highly recommended. In particular, the staff didn't rush us away from the table which is often the case in other establishments. Excellent. Looking forward to re-visiting!

The restaurant was nicely decorated and had a nice atmosphere If you ignore the awful warbling in the background, The staff weren't friendly but quick and highly efficient. The food on the other hand was awful. I took two bites of this £14 plate of 3 prawns and what I can only call terrible and hard rice crispy treats with the worst tangiest processed sweet and sour sauce and wanted to throw up. My stomach cannot tolerate awful food, but my partner on the other hand has a stomach of steel and he felt worse after a bite. I cannot stress how terrible the food was, the Chef could have literally defacated a Chinese takeaway on our plates and would have tasted better. It is overpriced garbage I've had better Chinese food at a £2.50 all you can eat buffet. Don't waste your time or money.

i have been Qila Khyber, my friend told me about this takeaway.i was really surprised when i saw BBC tv super star there .and i ate chicken biryani and masala fish which u couldn't find in Manchester and beautiful rice'n'3 curries.i think Qila is the best restaurant in Manchester

The Spicy Hut in Rusholme is simply superb. Every month for over ten years my wife and our friends have visited many restaurants in Manchester and have not found more tasty, good value food to compare with 'The Spicy'. We always find the staff very friendly and although it gets busy, it's never long to wait for a table. A recent revamp brought the comfiest seats I've ever sat on! Well worth a visit.......you will return!

I visited Ambiente with my Husband and my Mother-in-Law and we would certainly recommend it to anyone. The food was a very high standard, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly and quiet. Thank you to all the staff for an excellent night out. We will visit again soon!

Took my sister & 59 friends on her surprise 40th Birthday.... absolutely amazing night!! The staff are extremely organised got everyone served on time - Food - mixed reviews half loved it - half said ok but think that's because they weren't sure about Greek food anyway? However... entertainment - TOTALLY AMAZING!! If you want a fun crazy night - you HAVE to visit - loved it - enjoy!

I had a lamb madras, chapati and seek kebab take-away. I did not enjoy it one bit. Very lacking in flavours and too much oil in the curry. The chapati was not the good and there were virtually no flavours to the seek kebab. It was far too over-priced. . I will not go again or recommend.

We have visited La Roma numerous times and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating, food is of a very high standard and wines are excellent. Our particular favourites have to be the pork fillet (which is by far one of the tastiest meals we've ever eaten) and the chicken livers.

I came with a group of 12 teachers over a week ago. Was pleasantly surprised with my delicious pizza, and everyone was full with their servings. Ooo the sweet caramel was great. I'm awaiting confirmation by yourselves for another reservation on Monday, June 13 with more friends.

Me and my family used to be regulars at La Scala and absolutely loved it there. In the last couple of years we have only been twice as on both occasions we were very disappointed with both service and the food. We decided we would give it another go this week and once again we were let down. Service was awful (not attentive at all) and the food just ok with no surprises on the menu. Since Fabio and Pablo have left this place has changed completely. We will definitely not be going again

A further welcome addition to the Horwich restaurant scene. In the premises of former restaurants, Inca & Puddleduk, La Salsa has a good atmosphere and a good range of tapas options. The current menu operates on an "as much as you can eat" basis with various prices depending on the time and day. Friendly service, good food, reasonably priced. Worth a try.

My sister and fiance live in Switzerland and the three of us are vegan and last time they were home decided to celebrate with a meal at the laughing buddha with all the family. (A table for five). The service was slow and delivered one starter then a thirty five minute wait for the other starters. This was followed by a fourty five minute wait to our main course in which our bowls of rice were platted in originally warm bowls but ten minutes later half of us were still awaiting our main dishes. A ten percent service charge was applied to tables of five or more we did not pay this due to the bad service. However, we did leave a tip of £3:50 which on reflection was not deserved. The owner took this as a insult and followed us to the door shouting at us in front of all the other guests as we were leaving and insisted we took it back. We did try to explain our reasons but staff either unable to speak English or trying to look busy without actually accomplishing anything. Shame as a party of us from work were going to book in for the following week but have now suggested to everyone i know not to eat here. I wouldn't eat here again /. what a shame

It was my first visit to Bistro 156 on the 1st June with my two friends - what a fab time we had. Food was delicious -decent portions for us girlies who enjoy our food. Shaun our server was very attentive and made us feel extremely comfortable. We ordered all 3 desserts and shared them. It is my birthday on the 15th June and I will certainly be returning.

After the sad demise of Daniellis (previous name of restaurant - went downhill rather rapidly) Sugo is a refreshing change! Perfect for our girly nights out, or even as a midweek treat. Can't recommend it highly enough.

My sister and I ate at the Plaza in lat May 2011 and it was great. The atmosphere is lovely and since the cinema's restoration you feel like you are back in the 1930's. The meal was really good - lasagna and salad, water, scone and coffee. The price £11.00 each. The chef there is recommended and the waitresses (all kitted out in old fashioned "nippy" uniforms) are ultra friendly. Can't wait to go again.

I'd been meaning to go ever since I moved to Urmston nearly 3 years ago. Having eaten all over Manchester (and the country) I was extremely impressed with both the service and the food from Isinglass. 2 main courses at 2 drinks came to only £33!!! The portion sizes were enormous and the quality of the organic, locally sourced food was outstanding. The brother and sister run restaurant is simply outstanding! (BTW guys, if you're reading this, it was a pleasure to meet you)
