Sindhoor South Indian Restaurant – LevenshulmeVery cheap, friendly service, good quality food would recommend.
Full Monty – Ashton Under LyneLots of dishes to choose from and some very good chefs special dishes, I really like the Chicken Jalhi Bhuna and the Chicken Chilli Masala. Very spacious inside, very friendly staff, excellent service and the prices are very good too. I have been going here for many years now and every time I am pleased with the food, never had any complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended
Mumbai Indian Restaurant – Horwichtwelve of us went on 29th January great food good price lovely service nice atmosphere ask about the special deal £10.95 starter main meal and side dish plus poppadom all enjoyed the food lots of it try it you will enjoy it xxx
Mumbai Indian Restaurant – HorwichI HATE this place. I hate it because I came close to leaving my wife, packing in my job and working here as a toilet cleaner in exchange for one meal a day from this fantastic restaurant - this has been my favourite restaurant experience since I dined at the Fat Duck 3 years ago. This is without doubt the best Japanese food I have had and I've eaten a lot plus the proprieter Monica is an absolute sweetheart (not to mention a stone cold hotty!). I'm struggling to find words to describe how good this is, everything - and I mean EVERYTHING I have eaten there has been sublime - best gyoza by far, best salmon sashimi by far, best beef sashimi by far, best yakisoba by far - need I go on? If you enjoy impeccable food in a great little restaurant with fantastic staff and an out of this world hostess then you must try this place - I highly recommend asking nicely and giving Monica free-reign to choose your menu, a friend and I did and for £50 (well £60 really, I left a £10 tip) we had one of the best meals of our lives. So good I have eaten there at least 18 times in the past 2 months. Be nice to your tastebuds, treat them to a meal at Tokyo Season!
Tokyo Season – Manchester City Centrefood is good but price too high nice surroundings but too expensive for what it is
China Lounge – WhitefieldReally nice food not expensive but also not your usual frozen pub food service is good, you will need to book for the restaurant part rather than the pub that can get busy.
Shoulder Of Mutton – BuryReally nice food not expensive but also not your usual frozen pub food service is good, you will need to book for the restaurant part rather than the pub that can get busy.
Shoulder Of Mutton – Ramsbottomthe fish here is like no where else in bolton once you have tried it you wont go anywhere else
Chae’s Chips – Boltonjust returned home after sampling the early bird menu at Blacksticks, choice of full menu and excellent value for money, black pudding starter was fantastic and the pork main just melted in your mouth. This is my fifth visit to this bistro and it never fails to impress.
Blacksticks Restaurant – EcclesDecided to visit Retreat after seeing their current offer 50% off on Sunday until the end of February. When we arrived we were instantly impressed, the decor is modern and relaxing. There were not many people dining but we were all sat in the same area so it felt busier. As it had been snowing it was a lovely touch that the fire was on full blast, just what we needed. I can't wait to go back in the summer to take advantage of the outside dining area. My partner and I shared a Tapas Trio Starter, which consisted of Prawns, Meatballs, Cheesy Rice Balls and Garlic Bread. Each one of these were superb, fresh flavours and just the thing to wet our appetites. For our mains my partner had the Sirloin Steak with Peppercorn Sauce which was accompanied by chips, roasted cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. He enjoyed this very much, I had the Beef and Mushroom Pie which was lovely, the pastry was light and the sauce was rich and flavoursome. The dessert for me was fantastic, I had the Chocolate Fudge Cake with cream. I have had many in my time but this was the most light, fluffy indulgent cake I have ever had. Invariably the fudge and sauce takes away from the cake but this one is all about the cake. Delightful! Glad I squeezed it in. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a relaxing meal just the two of you, family get together or a night out with friends as the atmosphere would accommodate all those options. The menu would appeal to everyone and from what I saw everything is of the highest quality as we experienced. The Lamb Shank on the next table looked amazing! Give it a try, I promise you will love it!
Retreat – BoltonWe had a wonderful night at kebabish original, cheetham hill for my daughter's birthday. Kebabish Original Manchester Central – Cheetham HillGreat food and friendly staff, best Rib eye steak I`ve ever had,!!
Tavern Fayre – BoltonBlacksticks is a long standing favourite of both of us.The food is consistently well presented and excellently cooked. We have frequented this restaurant for several years now and have NEVER left disappointed. Long may it continue to be our favourite local nosherie
Blacksticks Restaurant – EcclesThis is a unique and elegant treat, which you might easily overlook if passing on the street. By walking through the doors of Stockport Plaza you step back in time to 1932. The newly refurbished Plaza Super Cinema and Variety Theatre has character by the bucket. By night, the building is host to a mixture of variety, music, classic films and more up to date movies. By day you can head upstairs to find a cafe lounge, complete with bow-tied and waistcoated waiting staff in the setting of Plaza's original cafe, much as it was 78 years ago overlooking Mersey Square. The place is typically open 10 - 4 and offers lunches, cakes and the like. Unusually, the dishes draw heavily on local producers. We tried the BLT (local bacon and very tasty) and the Cheshire Rarebit which included Stockport-brewed beer and local cheese. A range of teas are available including Plaza blend. Ours were delivered in pristine white tea pots with individual strainers. Bliss. It looks like some evening meals may also be available.
Plaza Cafe Lounge – Stockportfrancos is brill and value for money i have been plenty of times and loved it
