very pleasant and efficient staff, lovely food, pleasing decor and environment. Just one small point, why does a restaurant of this quality use paper napkins?? you wouldn't dream of paper table cloths!

Lusitano – ChorltonThe Windmill pub in Denton is well worth a visit. It is just £3.50 for a meal from the carvery and it is exceptional value for money i think. The meat is served to you and you help yourself to the vegetables, i can recommend the cauliflower cheese.
Windmill – AudenshawThis bar is proper, great food , great place - it rocks !
Revolution Bar – Manchester City CentreThe food at the Bull's Head was absolutely fantastic..the Aubergine Courgette Tomato bowl was to die for, no doubt the best food I had during my trip to Manchester/London.
Bulls Head Hale Barns – HaleAVOID! The Ox has been taken over & is now not what it once was. By a very long mark. If you are after decent food or a gastropub experience, then The Ox is not the place to go. It is now more of a bustling pub - lively & boozy - which is fine if that is what you are after. I had to send my food back twice & the problem not rectified. The problem? The sauce for my sizzling platter, straight out of a packet, not only tasted disgusting but also had not even been mixed properly so I ended up with a mouthful of powder mix - unpleasant to say the least. Despite me sending it back twice & not eating the dish, a refund was not forthcoming - all in all a disappointing experience & really quite extraordinary. Mind you, if you go to a boozy pub on a Friday night expecting exceptional gastro-pub cuisine what can you expect!
The Oxnoble – Manchester City Centrei have been here with my girlfriend and i have to say it was awesome loved it you get a real Thai experience here as its mainly full of Thai people and the price was amazing given the standard of food
Tai Pan Restaurant – RusholmeWe were recommended the restaurant by my work colleagues. We tried the banquet B and loved the platter (the best salt and pepper ribs i've ever tasted). There was so much food for 2 people we couldn't eat it all. The waiter was kind enough to encourage us to doggy bag. The food was very tasty, fresh and plenty of it. I loved the decor of the restaurant - so trendy and modern. I will be coming back for their Taste of China evenings. Also their wine was really good too. Thanks for a brilliant night.
Sweet Mandarin – Northern QuarterWe went to Jem & I for the first time on Saturday and thought the staff, atmosphere, music and food were absolutely fantastic we would recommend to anyone who loves delicious food. we will be going back and it's now in our top 5 of favourite restaurants. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Jem and I Bar and Grill – Didsburylove Greece and love Greek food and this restaurant serves the best authentic Greek food this side of Athens
Kosmos Taverna – FallowfieldWe visit the Jitrada on a fairly regular basis (from Rochdale) and are never disappointed. We take our two children (ages 2 and 12) and they really enjoy the food and the ambiance. My little one especially likes crossing the bridge and looking at the fish! The food is always delicious and the staff always friendly and attentive. Now that it is no smoking, it is even nicer! Recommended.
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleExcellent food very rich and filling. My husband is a non vegetarian and really enjoyed his bangers and mash with chips and I chose a spinach and beetroot dish which was ab delicious. A bit pricey but definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.
Greens – DidsburyI've been to this restaurant many times. The food and service is excellent. All the items on the menu are numbered so its easy to keep track of what you've order - even better take a small post it pad with you and write down each item ordered.
La Salsa – HorwichPleasant enough ambiance and good service. Its not really authentic latin american food though, more tex mex/toned down interpretations for the timid (or those who haven't experienced the genuine article). Generous portions in pleasant surroundings but if you're expecting something genuine and really different you may be disappointed.
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWent to Nutters Last Friday with my wife and I. I have eaten at a number of excellent restaurants, but Nutters was a clear winner. The food was awesome, starters, main course and dessert were excellent, this is a place you must go to. The scallops starter was beautiful.
Nutters Restaurant – RochdaleDreadful. Dreadful. Dreadful. Staff rude to the point of being hilarious, service shocking. I ordered monkfish and salmon kebab- the healthy choice (not). It came literally SWIMMING in oil-2 inches of it. likewise the potatoes and vegetables. I was starving- we had been sitting there for 90 minutes by this time, and managed to eat one of the two kebabs then gave up. When the spanish waitress asked how my meal was, i told her i couldnt eat it because of the oil, and she went MENTAL. She claimed it wasnt oil it was pesto (!!!) and if i didnt like pesto i shouldnt have ordered it, so it was my fault and flounced off! The whitebait was in an inch of something that wasn't quite batter, and wasn't quite breadcrumb. It certainly wasn't a 'a light dusting'! Duck confit starter was good, but i dont reckon they cooked it! If you want a drink my advice would be -get it from the bar yourself , as it is only 6 feet away, but drinks take at least 20 minutes to arrive. Actually, my advice would be, dont go. Expensive badly cooked garbage. The two ladies sat next to me didnt eat their meal either. Im not a serial complainer- this is the first meal i have left (ever!) and the first time i have complained.
The Wine Press – LittleboroughI've been to Harvey's a few times. The menu is simple but tasty, and always made fresh by the chefs unlike some chain restaurants that serve pre-made microwave food. It's got quite a unique interior too and I believe it's a listed building. Well worth a visit for lunch, dinner, cocktails or just a beer if you're in Bolton.
Harvey’s Cafe Bar – BoltonThat photo of the surroundings doesn't do it justice it's very comfortable. I went last Sunday night with my partner. Tables centre around the chef who prepares your food in front of you. If your group is small you are seated with other couples, very comfortably loads of elbow room nothing too intrusive. As for the chefs Wow, real showmanship, knife skills, comedy, fire, and beautiful food, the only thing they didnt do was stand on their heads. You have to see this for yourself.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreStunning food, pricey but value for money real quality and a friendly welcome from Dave and the entire team!
