we took our son and three of his friends for tea all i can say it was excellent food was excellent and the staff were amazingly friendly.it was my son's birthday and they made a big fuss over him even though he was 13 would recommend it to any one who has young children even the clown with the balloons is superb with the children and he makes everyone feel like they are so special

Frankie and Bennys – Trafford Centre

We often order a take away meal from Cafe Lahore and its been brilliant every time. The quality of the meat is very good and lean(lamb is tender and melts in the mouth). I also like the fact that Cafe Lahore does not use (as much) artificial colouring. I would recommend Cafe Lahore to everyone.

Absolutely Awful. Having heard good things about this place we decided to go for some dinner on the way into town for a night out. Really strange menu comprising student favourites alongside more sophisticated dishes costing considerably more that much better alternatives in the city centre. In the end we opted for Chilli Nachos x2. At £7 a throw we expected great things but what we actually got was a luke warm bowl of second rate chilli with a pile of cheap, overly salty, broken tortilla chips (probably from Netto or similar). They need to have a look at what you get in establshments such as Kro or Chiquitos for less money. While these things can happen it says something about the quality of the kitchen staff that something prepared with so little care and attention even made it out of the door. Its also worth mentioning that the table next door sent theirs back because it was cold. Service was also appalling! Avoid like the plague.

As a first timer, i loved the atmosphere, decor & building, beer and food.

A brilliant mother's day treat! Obviously very busy but the food and service were excellent. All the staff worked very hard to ensure satisfaction and nothing was too much trouble for our party of 13. Look forward to our next visit.

Overpriced, overrated, and isnt authentic serves halal meat, yet still sells alcohol?? And to top it all in a very dodgy area of manchester...thinK I will stick to chaporaya atleast its in the city centre, and traditional thai food is served and much much cheaper.

Vermillion – Moston

March 2008.Had not visited Bluu for well over 12 months and now feel this was a sad mistake to neglect an old favourite. We can honestly say we had the best meal since we can't remember, and we did compare with lots of restaurants both in the UK, on the Continent and South Africa. A new menu so lots more excuses to go back and try other dishes. The service was excellent, attentive but unobtrusive. The only (minor) let down was a half melted sorbet - but at that stage I would have forgiven them almost anything.

Efes - lovely family friendly restaurant. Lovely food, service, prices! An early Saturday dinner for 4, including 2 birthday girls, still attracted the very reasonable Table D'Hote menu. 4 people with very differing tastes and age groups, including a diabetic, had a lovely "genteel" time! We will return.Less than 60 quid for lovely food and wine.

i absolutely enjoy the food and the place when i go for a meal with my family. I'll be visiting again very soon and hope it's just as good as last time.

I've been going to Davardi's since the late 70's when I went with my parents. Now in my 50's with grand-children of my own and still can't find ANYWHERE that comes close. The large American has always been my favourite, so much so that I rarely try anything else!

Tried to book a table using my City Scene card but they declined, saying they needed 24 hours notice (not stated in the City Scene booklet) which considering we wanted the table at 6.30pm I thought was ludicrous. We were meeting friends there anyway so ended up eating there anyway - we ordered our main courses and had drunk virtually all our wine before the meal came (had to chase it up with the waitress first). To be honest the gravy looked as though it needed some more time in the microwave, it appeared to be reheated. Was not impressed at all. When we complained about it the waitress was quite rude and seemed to take everything too personally. Will probably not be using my 50% discount.

I spent a Saturday evening at Gallimores to celebrate Mother's Datafter having the restaurant highly recommended by a friend. The starter was acceptable but nothing exciting considering it was listed as a 'fine dining restaurant' when I ordered by main meal I requested the Pan fried sirloin medium well done but was informed by the waitress that this dish was only available medium rare and suggested I order an individual steak which I did and ordered this medium well done. When the food arrived my mother and sister had ordered the Pan fried sirloin which was certainly cooked as expected more like medium well done, however my steak was completely overcooked and totally dry. I informed the waitress this was not how I ordered my steak and she returned it to the kitchen - only to return minutes later to tell me the chef had told her 'it was that steak or nothing as it was expensive' I appreciated the price of £15.95 was expensive as I was going to pay it! She suggested I ordered a sauce to go with it to make it palatable which I did. When the bill arrived we asked to speak to the manager who certainly did not want to speak to us, as I took it as quite as insult to be charged £2.80 for a sauce to enable me to eat a bone dry steak - however we could not get him to engage in a conversation - so we paid our bill apart from the sauce - this was despite having a meal ruined by changing dishes and cold vegetables - not what you expect from a 'fine dining' restaurant not to mention atrocious treatment and lack of attention from the manager

Food was undercooked and service was terrible, when we complained about the food they did nothing about it.

Went to Via again recently, the menu has changed once again. Although not as extensive as it was, they have a fantastic tapas selection and an improved specials board. The price is reasonable and the service great. I would recommend this venue.

An excellent place to come, especially combined with bowling or the cinema. The service is quick and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend the Thai fish cakes for a starter!
