I went here on Saturday as a group of 4 girls. It was one of the best meals I have ever had and the service was excellent. The waiters couldn't do enough for you and to be honest I was expecting the bill to be more than what it was which was a nice pleasant surprise. Between the 4 of us not one of us had a bad word to say, we all picked something different from the menu and it was all perfect.

WOW! This place is seriously cool. Went just before Christmas and I was very impressed. The food is fantastic. The staff are friendly and the service superb. I'm going back again at the end of Jan. This is THE place to go in 2008. Make the effort to get there and you won't regret it. It's only a few minutes drive out of the city centre.

Definitely the best Indian restaurant around!!! Everywhere else just seems rubbish after this. Tuesday nights are £6 all you can eat buffet - highly recommended!! Not bad prices either!

I went here last night for my sisters birthday, and the whole night was spot on. The service was polite and everybody enjoyed their meal. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone!

Everytime i am shopping in manchester, i stop in Cafe Metro for a bite to eat. It has become a little tradition for me and my friends. The service is excellent, the food is lovely and its great value for money.

I have had numerous meals at this restaurant and have never been disappointed, the sexy mushrooms are fantastic. It is also great for lunch time meals as well, the lasagna is gorgeous, the only very small downside is the service can be very slow so don't go if you are in a rush but you don't mind as much if you enjoy your meal, which my husband and I do frequently, my children love it to.

6 of us went for Sunday lunch - 99% absolutely faultless - £7.95 for two courses and £9.95 for three and it was beautiful food - chips to die for - salmon as moist and tender as anything - creme brulee yum! Very friendly and attentive staff. Only one niggle - they took a while to bring the vegetables to the table and we were all so hungry that we had eaten 80% of our food before it came but other than that absolutely devine and great value for money - I believe it is only £5.95 for two courses in the week as well so we will be back !!!

I TOOK MY 14 YEAR TO THE NAWAAB LAST NIGHT 04/01/2008....FANTASTIC . THE FOOD IS ONE OF THE BEST, IF NOT THE BEST I HAVE TASTED AND I EAT ASIAN FOOD QUITE A LOT. THE STAFF ARE VERY GOOD AND POLITE, AND THE RESTAURANT IS SPOTLESS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND HEARS TO THE NEXT TIME.

Went here for the 1st time on New Years Eve, it was significantly cheaper than its neighbouring restaurants in Hale so I was slightly dubious about the food, however I had nothing to worry about. The food is possibly some of the nicest Chinese food I've had. Light and fluffy, fresh fragant flavours. The staff we also very attentive, cheery and relaxed and happy to chat. I will definitely go here again and will be happy to take visiting friends and family.

Made an impromptu visit here in December 2007, it was very busy but the atmosphere was great, really busy. The food was lovely, very fresh and the staff although busy were always there at the right times. Will definitely go here again.

Very friendly and excellent food. We have been several times and have also arranged important family occasions there. The specials board is always interesting the fillet steak in a special red wine and tomato sauce is outstanding.

I hate food courts. No, i loathe food courts. The smell, the constant noise, the crappy unappealing food. Yet every time i go into a shopping centre I end up eating in one of these bloody things as they are fast, cheap and convenient. However last week my life was been transformed (small exaggeration perhaps), when I stumbled across a small place called barburrito. Located in the Trafford Centre - (I think this is a new restaurant) - they sell great, reasonably priced fast food in a great environment. I had a burrito as big as my head, stuffed with shredded beef and spicy salsa, cheese, sour cream and lots of other stuff with a refill drink for £6. This is the best dining experience I have had for some time and restores my faith in fast food. Bomb Mcdonalds, set fire to Subway, trash KFC (please note none of these are subliminal requests, more a statement of dissatisfaction). In Barburrito there is finally a fast, tasty, healthy and good value alternative.

I worked there for four months three years ago. They paid me £3.80 per hour and we were not allowed to take the tips we earnt. I was called "fat girl" by the restaurant owner. The kitchen condition was the worst I've ever seen. Sweet sour chicken was placed in dirty basket on the floor and the duck sauce was placed in disgusting bottles. The workers were treated like dirt and most of them are illegal immigrants.

I worked at Buffet city for 4 months in 2004. They paid me £3.80 per hour and they kept any tips that were earnt. Also the standard and hygiene of the restaurant kitchen was awful. I struggle to believe that they washed the kitchen more than once a week. As well as this the workers were treated like dirt.

We visited the lovely chic NEW EastzEast on the riverbank just along from the Lowry Hotel. Big tip for the year here, this place will be the main competition for Akbars.Definately during the summer when you will be able to use the Riverside Bar. Food.. excellent as per the other branch. Service.. excellent as per. Price.. just right. prediction....will be in the top ten by July

Just returned from our first visit - definitely won't be our last!!!! Fantastic food/great value/lovely staff/good atmosphere/children welcome. If you haven't tried a trip here then you don't know what you're missing!!!

anything but a Turkish delight, cheap poorly prepared food at top prices. after trying a selection of dishes , they all where very bland and tasteless. and the lamb shish undercooked. very poor indeed and ive tried most restaurants and take aways in Manchester. at least they serve you with a big smile before they over charge you. keep up the poor work or go back to turkey for some cooking lessons.

Introduced to the Third Eye by our friends Rand and Carole. My wife and I usually try the Makhan Chicken and a Chili Chicken, washed down with a couple of large bottles of Kathmandu beer. The two dishes work well together. The food has always tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. The service is excellent. When we first walked into the place I said that it had the wonderful aroma of the Rajdoot in Manchester. I then found that the original Chef had worked at the Rajdoot. As the Rajdoot was always my favourite restaurant for Makhan Chicken I then ordered the dish and was pleasantly surprised. As Didsbury is closer than the Central Manchester and parking is easier we now eat at the Original Third Eye I have no connections with the establishment other than enjoying the food.
