The Pavilion – BoltonMyself and my husband have been for a number of meals and we always enjoy our visits. The food is gorgeous and generous portions. You can tell the chef cares about the food they are making. The manager Adele is so welcoming and friendly and engages with the customers which makes for exceptional customer service. The atmosphere is relaxed and the tables are clean. Although we don’t have a dog ourselves, we love the fact that it is dog friendly with the dogs even having their own menu. We highly recommend The Rising Moon. It is situated in beautiful countryside surroundings yet does not feel in the middle of nowhere and is easily accessible.

We had pre-ordered the meals so that was good too. No problems at all. The food was plentiful and freshly cooked. The only dish that one guest wasn’t keen on was the Duck, which he said was salty and not much taste otherwise. Having said that we would definitely recommend to future diners. Dining room a little dates but clean.
