A wonderful Monday evening menu! Such a great friendly venue with fantastic food and views over the river. The Harbour Lights had become my go-to place for great food at anytime of day! The team offer a friendly service, always welcoming and checking everything is ok. Fresh, locally sourced food at great prices. Specials on the menu too! Highly recommended and dog friendly in the bar too.

Can't fault the amazing food and good portions Staff are so professional and always making sure things are satisfactory Reasonable prices and can't falter anything about the restaurant

My partner and I had Sunday dinner again at the Harbour Lights yesterday. We have been on a Night also . Never disappointed with either the staff or food. Staff always attentive without being over the top. Food is always great and served promptly. Servings are substantial. Looking round you always see that none of the staff stand still , they are always on the move , great team of workers

A full vegan/veggie menu and gluten free options. All staff we spoke to were really knowledgeable about the allergen information of their food and were also just so friendly and lovely. We will definitely be back.

Had a table booked for dinner yesterday. The staff were very efficient, friendly and offered very good service. The food was amazing, I couldn’t fault anything from walking into the pub to the food.

The Harbour Lights is always a winner! I had the tandoori chicken flatbread with rice. It was absolutely delicious. The portion size was very substantial and presentation was lovely. The quality of the food is fabulous. The service is very efficient. A favourite place for lunch with family and friends

Fabulous meal, amazing service, our go to restaurant when in South Shields. Never been disappointed. Can’t fault it. Substantial portions. We’ve eaten dinner and breakfast both were great. Great prices. I’d definitely recommend to family and friends.

We visited for Sunday lunch. We reserved a table and were seated quickly. Service was fantastic and the meal was excellent. Loved every part of it. Only regret was that we didn't have room for dessert.
