Ravelston House – EdinburghOne of our very favourite eating experiences. Great welcome, very small and intimate, delicious predominantly fish menu. Well worth a visit but remember to book ahead.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWe had a wonderful meal, the food was fresh and delicious. I really appreciated that fish & chips wasn’t on the menu and there was such a range of locally sourced ingredients. My husband, who isn’t a big lover of seafood also really enjoyed the fish and you’ve converted him to a mackeral pate fan! The service was excellent, it felt really relaxed and the team were very attentive.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeExcellent food and service. I am not normally a seafood eater but you’ve converted me!
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeThe food here was absolutely fantastic. There’s a huge choice of fresh fish dishes as well as a few veggie or meat options. The prosecco was also top drawer:) Very friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere, we’ll be back!
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeGreat meal at Cafe fish. Dairy allergy restricted menu but the staff were super helpful. The oysters were delicious as was the stone bass
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeBrilliant food. Friendly, helpful service. Perfect birthday meal.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeVisited this restaurant as a group of 6. Food was excellent and all the meals were delicious. Service was great and the waitress was very attentive, friendly and efficient
Ravelston House – EdinburghWhat a taste experience. After a shaky start service-wise, this was a superb meal starting with Roll mop herrings and finishing with their renowned fish stew. The roll mops were bursting with flavour and the accompanying finely grated vegetables were their perfect foil. A delightful starter quickly followed by the best fish stew ever. The broth base with fresh herbs worked perfectly to enhance the wide variety of fish.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeStill dreaming of our lovely dinner at Cafe Fish. Our servers were very helpful when we arrived early with our golden retriever. They sat us with beautiful views of the water with plenty of space. The bisque , scallops and mussels were all so delicious! We wiped all the butter sauces with the homemade bread. We shared a beautifully prepared fillet of sole with a vierge sauce and crispy roasted potatoes. I wish i had room for pudding. Highly recommend and hope to return.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeTo summarise, lovely meal on our first night in Mull and we were so impressed we booked again for our last night.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeThe ambiance is certainly more than OK, as well as the service and the food. It's a shame that the 2 best red wines (Italian) on the menu were sold out. The sam goes for the port. A cheese platter without port is a bit disappointing.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingWonderful food and service. Would eat here every night if I could!
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeThere are lots of cafés in Stonehaven but Café Neuk has the perfect balance of good food, lovely setting and value for money. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The real differentiator is the Gluten Free menu. For once, you don't feel like you are missing out!
Cafe Neuk – Aberdeen2 courses for £16. Available Monday to Friday until 7pm.
