Really good food and service on a busy night (fireworks) Has a good selection of real ales too. Only small gripe was that the vegetables with the pie dish were over salted. Other than that - great!

The fact that I’m a regular visitor says it all.

Always pop in for a drink or food when I’m back in Rye. Everything was so good our waiter was really helpful and seemed to be really enjoying working there which is nice to see.

Great meal.. Good service. No problem about taking our two doggies. Will definately book again.

We had the most amazing meal here on Friday night. The pub itself has a lovely ambiance. The staff are friendly & helpful. We had a lovely cosy table. There were 4 of us. We had the squid & whitebaite for staters & 2 had the fish of the day seam bream yummy & 2 had the lamb pies which were all beautifully presented. Finished of with wonderful deserts. We were down for the weekend but will be back. Thank you.

First visit on Thursday lunchtime - WOW, travelled extensively and honestly cannot think of a better seafood meal. Mussels & Scallops as starters and Skate Wing & 1/2 Lobster for mains. I love an open kitchen and a team that engage with you from front of house to the chef’s - they have every right to be confident and proud of their food. Already chatting with friends to go back…

Great welcome, staff very professional and food absolutely delicious. Good choice available. We ate early but were not hurried to free the table for later sittings.

Such a wonderful pub to stop off at after a long walk around the beautiful surrounding area. We went for the Sunday roast and were super impressed! Great atmosphere, lovely service, delicious food and fab drinks selection. Would 100% come back.

We ate here on Friday 7/11 as a party of 4. The food was great and service excellent too. The menu is varied and caters for lots of tastes and is good value. We will come again

Booked in advance, always a good move as it gets busy 4 diners and we opted for lamb & beef and bowls of cauliflower cheese The roast was really good and we all cleared our plates, perfect pink beef and great to get good jars of horseradish rather than tiny pots Puddings were great, small glitch of our order being missed so we had some wait but it was worth it

Great reassurance. Easy to book. Vegan options. They let us bring the dog. In Rye for the weekend and struggling to find somewhere – The Globe Inn was perfect. Friendly staff.

First visit to this restaurant on a friends recommendation, superb food, loved both the salt and pepper squid and the lobster main. Very happy to not have to crack my own claw and have it all prepped for me when i asked. Very nice wine, good service, will definitely be back as I want to try the monkfish curry

Pie week was delicious! The sampling platter of three pies was a lovely surprise. All we absolutely delicious and generously packed. Charly as always was tip-top with her service and attention. This is a delightful little pub with such a welcoming atmosphere and fabulous staff.
