We are regular diners and have enjoyed the full range of dishes from the delightfully light summer salads, to the magnificent Sunday lunch (medley roast - yes!!) and the regular evening menu. The Denbigh – BexhillFab afternoon at the Globe with friends I booked a table for seven friends to for a late lunch with cocktails. We had a wonderful afternoon! Cocktails were superb and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Thank you to everyone who made our girls afternoon so much fun...we loved the Baby Guinesses at the end of the meal - superb!

Ancient Grains – EastbourneWonderful meal as usual. The roasts were fantastic and I had the lobster, it was very good as was the burger and lobster and mussels. The Almond tart was fab and the affogatos were delicious. We also had a bottle of the sparkling Poynings so lovely.

The Denbigh – BexhillOverall a fantastic pub to book a meal in. They were super friendly and great service. A great seating area that was perfect for our dog. The menu and drinks list was extensive and the food was pretty good. The roast could have been a little better, overcooked roast potatoes and a cold Yorkshire pud, but minor issues really. Highly recommend a visit and will return.

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely atmosphere and great service, with an impressive selection of non-alcoholic wine and beer. However a bit disappointed with some of the food. I’d had an amazing burger here some years back, with a delicious slice of real cheddar that really made it. I struggled to see the cheddar this time (just a smudge on the bread), which is something I was really looking forward too, as I particularly love Applewood cheddar. Possibly it had melted away but it was hard to tell. Also the plates were far too small, being starter sized plates, so it was really difficult to eat the burger as there was no cutting space whatsoever. I found this really frustrating and should have asked for a normal plate. A normal sized plate, together with some salad garnish, would have been better. There were only 3 flavours of ice cream to choose from and I would have loved a chocolate one. All in all, the food was tasty enough but we just felt the burgers could have been better presented.

The Denbigh – BexhillLovely food well presented. Great service , lovely calm atmosphere. Really enjoyed the lamb, the aubergine starter was exquisite and the Sardinian desserts were delicious . Fantastic Sardinian beer that you can’t easily find. Will definitely visit again.
