The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeA great venue for parties of 15-20 in the upstairs room. Good food and very attentive service.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeCame for the first time in nearly 15 years, only because Hythe to Rye is a bit of a trek!!! It was thoroughly worth it, came specifically for Rye scallop week as my guest and I love them. Beautifully cooked and 5 different dishes Please keep a few on the menu!! Great team and fellow diners. Will be coming back for a family birthday in a few weeks.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeFood was excellent staff was polite and very friendly atmosphere was really lovely a pleasant to have found this restaurant
Ancient Grains – EastbourneExcellent superb delicious scallops for Rye Scallop week special The steak & kidney pudding never disappoints Small negative was being seated on broken bench shared with pleasant couple on next table. Every time one of us moved slightly it tipped forward. It was not until the end of the meal when I realised the central leg was almost held together with gaffa tape.
The Denbigh – BexhillSuper meal, tempura prawns followed by beautifully cooked Dover Sole with hand cut chips & broccoli and red peppers. Totally scrumptious!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe visited as a dining group and had a delicious meal in comfortable surroundings with attentive staff.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaNever disappoints. Excellent lunch. Faultless service. Wonderful food. Full of atmosphere. My “go to” to impress visitors.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaA lovely friendly restaurant with very good food
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe were a party of two and our first visit to Globe Inn Marsh for lunch to celebrate scallop week. We loved the decor atmosphere and the great staff who were so attentive. We chose GIN because the scallop menu was the most extensive and inventive compared to other eateries offering a scallop menu with a good wine list. We both prefer to eat fish and we were not disappointed by the presentation and quality of individual dishes particularly the scallop pie which we loved. The kitchen staff clearly know how to cook fish. We visit Rye fairly regularly and GIN has become our favourite place to eat and drink by a long way.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeDelicious food, great atmosphere. Really enjoy it every time I come to Rye.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeA famous local pub with a very good reputation for food. I visited in the evening and have to say that the reputation is deserved. Very good gastropub menu, with a decent wine list. Food was piping hot and well cooked. Chips were somewhere between chunky chips and fries, and went down well. Big portions. Service was exemplary. The pub itself is old style and a little dated. It hasn't yet had the usual grey paint gastropub refurb, and it is better for that. Friendly locals were the main audience. Recommended.
The Denbigh – BexhillStaff were very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious if a little on the expensive side, but well worth it.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneFirst time we have been last night and the food was absolutely beautiful, and the service was amazing. We had our sons with us and made us all feel so comfortable and they even said when left what a good time. Everything had amazing flavour and amazing portions will definitely be back!
Macklins at The Riverside – PulboroughFantastic Sunday lunch with scallops galore for the festival too. Great ambience, good food, quick service and good wine list as well as delicious cocktails- highly recommended…..even dog friendly!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeThe pub itself is very unique and it’s clearly popular as it was jam packed! Service was efficient, food was delicious and we’ll definitely be returning. Only negative is we got put on a table with not a lot of room and the chairs were fixed into the ground so no room for adjustment, made it a little difficult to eat and very little room for our dog but it didn’t take away from a very nice meal and as I said we’ll definitely be back.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeFabulous food, great service and nice atmosphere. Little more Veggie choice and itd be perfect
The Denbigh – BexhillExcellent lunch with very attentive, friendly service. Our third visit. Loved it . Shaun
