Fantastic first time at the Globe, service and food could not have been better

The Globe is our favourite pub. Delicious food, excellent service and beautiful decor. The staff were just wonderful to us and our two children and dogs. We will be back soon!

Great decor & atmosphere, staff are lovely too. The food was very nice & I’d like to go back to try other dishes. My husband said the best lamb pie he’d ever had. I had a DELICIOUS Kinder Bueno cocktail that I’ll definitely have again.

Fabulous evening on Sunday. Live entertainment that was out of this world, great sharing board and very good cocktails

A cosy and interesting pub with a warm atmosphere. We booked on the Friday for Sunday lunch, there were a few slots left so a clear sign the lunches are popular! We chose the chicken sharer, a whole chicken with the usual sides and whopping great Yorkshire puds for £40! Bargain! The food was delicious and there was a good choice of beers from local breweries. Really friendly and attentive staff too.

My wife and I enjoyed a terrific evening at Barnaby's on Valentine's Day. Great sharing platter, excellent range of drinks and most importantly, brilliant atmosphere with a fab jazz trio and guest. Such excellent musicianship that worked so well in an intimate setting. we will be back!

Only recently discovered this gem of a place with really warm, welcoming people, great service and company, fabulous music, good food / and a very relaxed atmosphere. A great place for an evening out or a lazy lunch. Totally recommended.
