Had a lovely meal here Friday lunchtime. Lovely little place with great staff and great food.

We had a delicious lunch at Into the Blue. We were welcomed by friendly staff and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely atmosphere and great service, with an impressive selection of non-alcoholic wine and beer. However a bit disappointed with some of the food. I’d had an amazing burger here some years back, with a delicious slice of real cheddar that really made it. I struggled to see the cheddar this time (just a smudge on the bread), which is something I was really looking forward too, as I particularly love Applewood cheddar. Possibly it had melted away but it was hard to tell. Also the plates were far too small, being starter sized plates, so it was really difficult to eat the burger as there was no cutting space whatsoever. I found this really frustrating and should have asked for a normal plate. A normal sized plate, together with some salad garnish, would have been better. There were only 3 flavours of ice cream to choose from and I would have loved a chocolate one. All in all, the food was tasty enough but we just felt the burgers could have been better presented.

6 of us and a small baby had supper here last night. A lovely welcome and delicious meal. Very friendly staff and outstanding sea bass! Everything was hot and tasty. Good wine list which was modestly priced. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely food well presented. Great service , lovely calm atmosphere. Really enjoyed the lamb, the aubergine starter was exquisite and the Sardinian desserts were delicious . Fantastic Sardinian beer that you can’t easily find. Will definitely visit again.

My first time here on Wednesday with a group of friends and it won't be our last. We couldn't make our minds up as there was such a good choice but went for the 6 sharing dishes. Food was excellent as was the service, atmosphere & very friendly staff.

Went for steak night. Delicious ribeye steak cooked to perfection. Whole meal was really good. Will definitely go again . Recommend.

Another fabulous meal at In the Blue! 3rd birthday celebration we have had here. Lovely Chablis to go with the meal and always certain to have consistent quality food. It is a homely comfortable atmosphere and the staff are always attentive and food without too much of a wait. Recommend 100%.

First visit here on the 15th March and will definitely be returning Fabulous food and wine, great service, excellent value for money and very accommodating with a request to suit my partners requirements Places like this are a rare find these days and should be cherished A definite go to in the Meads/Eastbourne area.
