The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeVery friendly staff. Delicious food. Highly recommended restaurant for any occasion. I now I will be back
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had our work Xmas do here on Fri 13th Dec and it was absolutely fantastic! Beautifully decorated venue, brilliant cabaret from Et Sa Valise and the bistro small plates were absolutely delicious! Especially loved the pigs in blankets presented in a martini glass and the rose prosecco welcome drink was so good! Thanks Macklins for making our experience unforgettable! :-)
Macklins at The Riverside – PulboroughWe have had lunch a few times recently and have been pleased with the overall quality of food and service. The pub is quiet, has plenty of parking and certainly harps back to the older style of doing things. Nevertheless, the food is good, the beer kept well and is value for money.
The Denbigh – BexhillGreat, tasty food, inventive menu. Good service and friendly service, will definitely return.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had our Christmas meal here from work , lovely food the fish dishes are amazing, very well presented , exceptional staff . We weren't hurried or rushed even between courses. Would thoroughly recommend

Ancient Grains – EastbourneThe food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was quiet, but we still enjoyed it. We had the Christmas Party menu which was fantastic value for money. It's our favourite seafood restaurant.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaGreat food and atmosphere. Service is friendly and relaxed.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe booked Barnaby's Lounge for our team's Christmas party and we were so pleased we did. Barnaby and his team were so accommodating and flexible with our group. Great food and drinks options, with live music too! We hope to be back again for future team socials.
Barnaby’s Lounge – HastingsGreat place to spend a lazy afternoon. Food, service and environment excellent.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeMy wife and I had one of the best plated Sunday Roasts. We loved the hand prepared roasties and the vegetable selection which was served on the side, all with speed and some lovely welcoming smiles.
The Denbigh – BexhillAnother great night. Great atmosphere good wine. "The other band" a brilliant band.
Barnaby’s Lounge – HastingsIt was our first time in Benbigh on Sunday we had a lovely meal. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We shall certainly return. Thanks
The Denbigh – BexhillBest roast we've had in a long time! Shame we were late for the music but the food did not disappoint. Huge portions, all freshly cooked, meat was juicy and well seasoned. Cauliflower cheese and the cabbage with bacon was chefs kiss! Megan was friendly and attentive as always, an asset to any bar/restaurant. Will definitely be returning and will be recommending to friends and family :)
Macklins at The Riverside – PulboroughAs someone who has regularly used The Denbigh for family gatherings we arranged a family pre Christmas meal I was sorely disappointed with the service we experienced. It started off badly with one of the staff, when asked for a gin & tonic, 'Do you want lemonade with that?' Then they had to ask 'Is this tonic?' so didn't get off to a great start. Bar staff should know their drinks and what they have in stock! Changes should be handed over at starts of shifts. Clearly new staff don't have inductions anymore or the quality of training has diminished. When ordering puddings, coffee was ordered for the same time in lieu of a pudding - it never arrived! Food was excellent and 10/10 for that. Absolutely no faults with that as that standard is well maintained. It was all utterly delicious. However, service overall was shocking. 2/10. I acknowledge they were busy, however service needs a massive improvement to ensure staff can follow a simple request for G&T (a bar staple) and know the menu when someone asks a question about it. No questions asked regarding any allergies anyone had when orders taken, luckily we didn't. Staff in bar/restaurant area were all very young and appeared inexperienced working in a busy hospitality environment or just couldn't be bothered with good old fashioned customer service. Would I hold any future family gathering there? - doubtful after Friday evening. Would I go for a meal with friends - nope. Food remains excellent standard & utterly delicious. Service lets the pub down. Such as shame.
The Denbigh – BexhillLovely visit to the Globe for Sunday lunch. Small cozy and friendly pub with log fire and cosy comfy seating. Service is friendly and relaxed. Food was exceptionally well cooked and fresh with great care and thought to an inspired local and traditional menu with nice modern touches. great oast pork loin and crackling was perfectly cooked delicious. Puddings were lovely. Great selection of wines and local beers.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeThis was our second visit to The Globe and it was excellent again. The weather was awful but we were cosy inside. The service and the Sunday roast were both excellent and exactly what we needed after a weekend battered by Storm Darragh. We always recommend The Globe to friends visiting Rye. Thank you
