A delightful lunch in pleasant surroundings ( loved the Christmas baubles!) The staff were friendly and professional, and the menu was varied giving excellent choice with good value for money. I could have done with a few more vegetarian options but had a starter of cauliflower as a main with greens and chunky chips to pad it out.. It was delicious. May I suggest that the chef takes the nuts out of the wonderful plum and bramley crumble. They were not expected and did not need to be there. I hope that people with nut allergies declare as it might be a problem. Having said that the crumble was lovely, I just left the nuts. Highly recommend this restaurant

We chose to celebrate our daughters birthday at the globe inn marsh yesterday Sunday 17th and would like to share our thanks and gratitude for such a delicious meal along with a great setting friendly warm atmosphere and outstanding service . One of the nicest Sunday roasts I’ve had , Im a celiac and vegetarian which is always a struggle to find somewhere that accommodates that , this was accomplished effortlessly and with perfection. Our meat eaters also had a wonderful meal beef, pork, and chicken all cooked to perfection .! We can not recommend this beautiful well run unique pub/ restaurant enough. We drove 3 hours home all talking about our experience and we fully intend to return. Thank you all very much. Outstanding..!! 6⭐️

Another lovely roast at The Globe. Always cooked to perfection. Would be nice to have some additional vegs to choose from as sides, maybe red cabbage, and some stuffing to accompany the chicken and/or pork. Minor suggestions to improve an already excellent eating experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Small, cozy restaurant serving tasty and authentic Sardinian cuisine. We had Sardinian starters which were wonderful, followed by their Sunday roasts (we sampled the lamb, chicken and pork). Great service and friendly staff.

Food was very tasty and the portions were very generous. Service was very friendly and timely and my dog was made to feel very welcome. As Arnie once famously said "I'll be back"

We both really enjoyed our meal, but my friend would have preferred not to have had courgettes as one of her vegetables. The service was excellent. Thank you

cosy and intimate atmosphere, excellent service and the most delicious food. the flavours were rich, deep and aromatic and unusually loads of amazing choices for those who don't eat meat. i didnt know Sardinian comfort food was my favourite food until this weekend and now i cant wait to go back and eat it ALL!

It had a great atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of food especially as we had a non-dairy, a vegetarian, and a vegan in our group. We all enjoyed the meal and our friends who lived nearby but hadn't eaten there will be back, dog-friendly, comfortable, and relaxing.

Myself and my wife went for date night on Thursday 14th November for the first time. My wife is fish mad me not so much but it was fabulous. Owner takes great pride in her establishment and her customer service is lovely. We will return and highly recommend.

We had a great lunch at The Globe on a Friday afternoon in November for my birthday. Great atmosphere quirky decor and the food was delicious. The young girl that served us was very attentive and polite great service. Enjoyed the banoffee pie and all of our group (all the locals) will definitely be back.

We had a very pleasant lunch yesterday however there was a large variation in the steaks between my partner and myself even though we chose the same steak hers was a lot fatter than mine so I think in future maybe some quality control over the variation in the steaks would be appreciated Otherwise very pleasant experience

Excellent meal. My wife loves seafood but I'm not keen, so I was delighted that they had a first rate veg curry for me and some wonderful fish for her. + first rate service. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food we had the sharing meal and were really impressed to be able to swap a dish neither of us liked to an alternative It was a quiet weekday night so atmosphere was friendly and we were able to chat Highly recommend this restaurant

My daughter and I spoilt ourselves, we ordered every starter and treated the meal like Spanish tapas. Each dish was delicious and came at a steady pace giving us time to finish. Everybody was very friendly.

We were so happy without fabulous meal last night. Our table was great and the service excellent. We will definitely be back soon
