Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaCame for Sunday Roast with some friends that were visiting for the weekend. Been wanting to try the Globe for ages so was the perfect occasion. For the price I paid I would’ve expected slightly better food. My roast dinner was all lukewarm and was drenched in a very thin gravy. The beef brisket was overcooked, although did taste nice, as did the veg. Pudding was nice, the crème brûlée, but again for £8,50 I’d expect a bigger portion. Service was really good, couldn’t fault it. Just a shame the food didn’t live up to the expectations, and I felt I’d paid a lot of money to have a mediocre roast dinner.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeMy wife and I booked Sunday Lunch. We ordered the lamb and porchetta, Both were delicious, the meat and vegetables were great, nice to have a roast with a Sardinian influence. We have been to the restaurant on a few occasions now and love the menu as it differs from your standard Italian fare.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneWill definitely be returning
Pissarro’s – HastingsWe booked Into the Blue for a celebration meal. The food was the best seafood we have ever eaten. I tried an oyster for the first time and I’m so glad I experienced this at Into the Blue as it was totally fresh and delicious…….as was all the seafood we had. The mussels were huge and the sauce was to die for. My partners scallops were delicious. We both had a seafood platter ……..a great choice for our first visit here as we got to taste a range of dishes, all of which were superb. Neither of us could pick a favourite from the dishes we ate as they were all equally amazing and beautifully presented. The service and atmosphere was fabulous and the waitress was very attentive. We will definitely be regular visitors and will return very soon.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaThe sea bass meal was absolutely beautiful, possibly the best sea bass I've tasted. The boulabais was full of well cooked fish and tasty sauce. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely meal as always ..
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaSuper seafood always cooked with care and attention!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaI love this place. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful. Such a great atmosphere. I have been there several times, this time was for my friends birthday. I Will probably be back in February for my anniversary.
Pissarro’s – HastingsFriendly service. Great wine. Excellent food. Reasonably priced. Couldn't ask for more
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaVery accommodating, particularly as I hadn’t realised that I needed to tell the staff we had a dog with us! Food and service very good. Could have been a little warmer, but then it was a very cold day.
The Denbigh – BexhillFirst visit here with friends. For a Wednesday night the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, very attentive and personable staff/owners looked after us. Between us we had the bouillabaisse and sea bass with a selection of sides. Everything was cooked beautifully, showing off the fish with amazing seasonings and flavours. Delicious all round and a lovely space to spend an evening with friends. Can’t wait to return soon.

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe went last Saturday for the set lunch to see what it’s like. Lovely restaurant with comfortable ambiance. Excellent food, fresh and very tasty. So good to try something different that’s quality. Looking forward to going back!
Ancient Grains – EastbourneA lovely, "one-off" pub with great decor, service and menu. We'll definitely be back
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeBest Roasts, very tasty & not shy with the gravy! The crumble is the perfect pudding for autumn
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeLove the pub and atmosphere. Good beer. Food disappointing, not good value for money. Burgers could do with a side salad, cauliflower starter small and tasteless .Vegetarian option poor, risotto very plain and lacked flavour. Unlikely to eat there again and wouldn't recommend...I am a relief manager in a B&B when I come to Rye . As I said I will return for a drink but not food
