Always superb, great food and staff. Love it here

Been a couple of times for the evening dinner but this was our first time for lunch. Yet again excellent food, service and wine. Never had a bad experience here and recommend it wholeheartedly.

A visit is an event that never fails to exite, this is a true gem. Food is exceptional. Value for money, a convivial atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. My next visit can't come soon enough!

Very warm and helpful welcome. Prompt service, decent selection of beer including several local breweries plus a wide choice of delicious food on the menu. Good value too. We are about an hour away from Rye but we always go to The Globe when we visit as it's so good.

Lovely little restaurant, we had a really enjoyable family meal. Great seafood and our son had a fantastic Ribeye steak too. Good size portions. Couldn't fault it! We'll be back

We visited the Globe Inn late on a Sunday afternoon . We all enjoyed our lunch and those who had the roast were treated to a generous plate of meat veg and gravy . The service was friendly and atmosphere was good. Would visit again if in Rye . Its a short walk out of the main town

We had an excellent meal here. We recommend The Globe to anyone looking for an excellent pub to eat with a fab atmosphere. Excellent service.

As usual, great food, great service and great hosts. Am willing to travel from Milton Keynes just for their lamb roast - haven't found it better anywhere in the UK yet!!!!

A fantastic lunch with the family, great fresh fish in a lovely relaxed restaurant. Excellent value and lovely service.

What a great place! The menu was reassuringly short but varied, the portions generous and the food very tasty, fresh and authentic. The red and white house wines were also excellent. Nothing fussy or pretentious, the owners have just got it right!

I had a burger which was nice but the triple cooked chips definitely were not triple cooked. They were barely showing the fryer even once, I’ve never seen such insipid chips in all my life. This meant that they were soggy and greasy. It’s such a shame as they could’ve been lovely. My friends had the lamb which did look lovely and my husband’s steak was also very good but again he said the chips were soggy and pale
