Came here New Year’s Eve , fab vibe loved the decor very Christmassy , food and service were excellent

Ancient Grains is the best restaurant in Eastbourne and we try to come every week if we can get a table. This family run restaurant has something to offer every palette. If you are vegetarian (like I am) or love meat or fish (like my husband) their carefully crafted menu will delight you. The wines on offer are delicious and everything is served with a smile from Carla and her team. Book a table you won’t regret it.

The meal we had on boxing day was both lovely and well portions when it arrived. Service was good , even though they appeared to have an issue in the kitchen . No Baked Macaroni cheese as on the menu so my partner had to change her order , which was a shame. Had to wait for deserts due to the issue mentioned above in the kitchen . Generally very nice lunch though

Whilst staying in Rye, we enjoyed a lovely evening. The food was delicious and there was a lovely atmosphere. Our son and his girlfriend had previously visited and recommended it to us. Really pleased we visited.

Had a very enjoyable evening , although to be fair we almost did not go through the door due to the NAFF completely tasteless Christmas decorations that surrounded the outside of the restaurant. How could anyone be so crass as to set up such a bugger off sign for such a deserving staff and cook

The perfect place to relax and unwind on a Sunday afternoon. Great food and ales every time we visit.

We had a cozy corner with the our two dogs drinking mulled wine. We also had meal and dessert, both lovely. Service was friendly and helpful. We would go again, we had a lovely evening.

We are regular visitors to ITB & as ever the food & service on our last meal there were excellent. It's Shoreham's hidden gem!..
