We had an evening meal, pre booking a few dishes. I’m so glad we went, everything was delirious, and the staff were lovely. We had a lovely evening and would highly recommend.

I went with two friends for lunch yesterday. We had a lovely meal, I highly recommend this restaurant. The surroundings are pleasant, lovely staff and delicious food. Next time I visit Eastbourne I will definitely be there again it is the best restaurant I have been to in the town.

Just exquisite flavours well presented in a cosy atmosphere. A great selection of Sardinian wines, every one of which was available by the glass to try. Engaging and welcoming hostess. This was a lucky find for us when visiting the area. Did a bit of research and seemed like a good option…… but in fact excellent. I would revisit Eastbourne just to come here!! Thankyou

We try to eat at the Globe whenever we visit Rye, which is usually about two or three times a year. We love it and especially loved it this last time (in early January). The food was good, the atmosphere cosy and warm and the service excellent (they were completely on top of our son's intolerances and extremely helpful). We'll be back!

Staff are very friend and attentive. They bring with them the condiments possibly needed with them while bring the food so save us asking for them. Food was great and served reasonably quickly. I love the slow cooked pork. It was tasty and value for money. The deco is nicely done and atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Friendly with children and dogs. Will definitely go back again.

Sunday roast at Macklins was superb. There was a wonderful selection of excellent vegetables and the meats were cooked to perfection. Service, as always was warm and friendly. Well done!

Booked a table for Saturday evening online to see the band with a group of 6 friends. Band was great, bar was great. Barnaby was so supportive of the band and even said he’d rather we put more in the collection and buy less drinks. Lovely atmosphere and will definitely visit again. We didn’t order food so not sure what the food is like. 1 of my friends wanted tea and they made her a pot of tea.

We booked online for a birthday lunch over the weekend, which coincided with the Greg Heath trio, who created a Superb atmosphere. Cosy, warmly welcomed, drinks and service for food were fast considering it was rather busy. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and would definitely recommend Barnaby's lounge. Excellent.

We enjoyed a delicious Roast today. Generous portions and cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The service was both attentive and polite. Lovely relaxing lunch. I'm so looking forward to returning.

Lost count of the times we’ve eaten here and we’ve never been without a warm welcome, great friendly service and most importantly excellently cooked, locally sourced food. Good wine, beer and cocktail list too and to top it all, everyone has welcomed our dogs every time.

We were served by such a lovely Polish Lady who was super efficient and friendly. The food was stunning. What a lovely place. We are definitely going to be back.

Nice atmosphere and very pleasant waiting staff. The food was generally good with the exception of a really poor mushroom risotto that was over cooked, used the wrong type of rice and was poorly seasoned.In fairness it was a vegan option which precluded butter and parmesan. However although vegan was on the menu it was not very obvious. It might be helpful if waiting staff pointed this out.

Barnaby's is my favourite place in Hastings, mostly thanks to Barnaby. He supports artists and musicians, so the walls always have great art and there's always wonderful music playing! The atmosphere is great and the food and drinks are the cherry on top. Wonderful place - 5 stars
