As usual, great food, great service and great hosts. Am willing to travel from Milton Keynes just for their lamb roast - haven't found it better anywhere in the UK yet!!!!

The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeOur third visit and once again had a very good experience. Great food, great wine and great service.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneReally lovely food and very reasonably priced. Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere too Will definitely be back
Ancient Grains – EastbourneA fantastic lunch with the family, great fresh fish in a lovely relaxed restaurant. Excellent value and lovely service.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a great place! The menu was reassuringly short but varied, the portions generous and the food very tasty, fresh and authentic. The red and white house wines were also excellent. Nothing fussy or pretentious, the owners have just got it right!
Ancient Grains – EastbourneI had a burger which was nice but the triple cooked chips definitely were not triple cooked. They were barely showing the fryer even once, I’ve never seen such insipid chips in all my life. This meant that they were soggy and greasy. It’s such a shame as they could’ve been lovely. My friends had the lamb which did look lovely and my husband’s steak was also very good but again he said the chips were soggy and pale
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent as ever. Only downside. Got parking fine for not realising that even blue badge holders must pay in nearby car park. Shame. Spoilt the trip from Arundel but will know next time.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAs usual the food for our family lunch was beautiful. We all had different fish dishes and enjoyed them tremendously.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent food, ambience and service!!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe are regular diners and have enjoyed the full range of dishes from the delightfully light summer salads, to the magnificent Sunday lunch (medley roast - yes!!) and the regular evening menu. Service is attentive, costs very reasonable and vibe is well-loved local pub. We will continue to be regular visitors. Thank you, The Denbigh!
The Denbigh – BexhillFab afternoon at the Globe with friends I booked a table for seven friends to for a late lunch with cocktails. We had a wonderful afternoon! Cocktails were superb and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Thank you to everyone who made our girls afternoon so much fun...we loved the Baby Guinesses at the end of the meal - superb!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeOur first experience of the restaurant and we were very impressed. Food was excellent and the staff very friendly. We look forward to returning in the very near future.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneWonderful meal as usual. The roasts were fantastic and I had the lobster, it was very good as was the burger and lobster and mussels. The Almond tart was fab and the affogatos were delicious. We also had a bottle of the sparkling Poynings so lovely.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaGood food, brilliant staff really enjoyed everything
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaMyself, daughter & mother in law visited on Sunday 22/03/25 and all had the roast. Definitely 10/10 I can’t fault a single thing. Staff were very attentive with a ready smile. The Portuguese custard tart was to die for , delicious.
The Denbigh – BexhillOverall a fantastic pub to book a meal in. They were super friendly and great service. A great seating area that was perfect for our dog. The menu and drinks list was extensive and the food was pretty good. The roast could have been a little better, overcooked roast potatoes and a cold Yorkshire pud, but minor issues really. Highly recommend a visit and will return.
