Over the years since it became a restaurant we have eaten quite a few times at Llys Meddyg and always had an enjoyable meal but on Saturday (20th September) we think they surpassed themselves. It really was one of the best meals we have had in ages. The food, the wines and the service were all impeccable.

Not my first visit but as usual a great meal and served to us with a smile. I thought the starters and mains are a little expensive but the portions are of a good size and substantial. Perhaps my view on price is a bit unfair as what is cheap these days? A meal much enjoyed by our party of seven adults and one child out to celebrate a 20th birthday

I chose this restaurant based a a review on Trip Advisor, as I wanted to treat my family. I could not have chosen a better restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional. We will certainly return.

On our first stay at Llys Meddyg we dined in the restaurant three times, ate plaice, cod, crab, mackerel and lamb. All were immaculately cooked with interesting and unusual sauces and accompaniments, presented beautifully. This is seriously good cooking with very proper but friendly and informal service in a beautiful restaurant (well done to whoever makes the stunning flower arrangements!) We will be back as soon as we can. Highly recommended…

It was our wedding anniversary and I must say we had a beautiful evening with friends, the food was wonderful and they way it was presented was stunning, I don’t usually have 3 courses, but I did yesterday and each course was delicious. Our waiter was very well informed and the whole evening was truly special. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We recently had a meal at the Ship Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meals arrived quickly, were very tasty and plentiful. In addition the service was friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Llys Meddyg is an absolute gem in Newport on the Pembrokeshire Coast worth a journey. I rarely write reviews but this restaurant does everything right from food to service to atmosphere. Not inexpensive but a terrific value for your hard earned money.

We loved this restaurant. It was recommended to us on a recent trip to Cardigan. Welcoming but stylish decor, wonderful service and the best home made burger and fries I have eaten for years. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place, the food was fantastic. I had the mixed grill and couldn't finish it there was so much. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
