We are here on 19th August. With very high expectations we sat in our pod and were given water for the dogs. There was a friendly, lively atmosphere, people young and older, enjoying the fantastic garden surroundings and the warm atmosphere. As always, the servers were friendly, attentive and ready to help, but never pushy. The food was... Wow. Very simple, local food produced to a standard that I would expect in a high end restaurant. The menu suggests wine parings, which is always helpful, and the wine suggested to go with the beef fillet was spot on. We try to visit for my birthday dinner, and are never disappointed. They have a well stocked cellar with quality wines and good local beers. I really can't recommend this place enough. Many thanks to the whole team, we hope to return soon.

We visited the Happy Lok for a family dinner. We ordered a selection of dishes, all of which were very fresh & delicious. We all enjoyed the food very much and will be back again soon

Greeted by friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, food was very nice. Walked out through the garden which was magical at night.

We ate in a ‘pod’ in the secret garden. Throughout we received great customer service: from the greeting and drinks before our booking through to the services at the table which were timely, pleasant, responsive and discreet. The menu was contained but offered choice. The food served was of a great standard. Overall - the ambience, environment , food and, service, provided a very enjoyable experience!

Happy Lok is a fantastic spot! The food is top-notch, especially the authentic Chinese and Malaysian dishes (5/5 stars!). The staff are friendly and attentive (4.9/5 stars). The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a night out with friends (4.5/5 stars). Great value for the quality (5/5 stars). Highly recommend it, especially for authentic Asian cuisine lovers!

We spent some considerable time trying to think of a place in this region where we had, had a finer dining experience. We couldn’t. Well done you guys. We are already looking to planning a longer stay.

Enjoyed dinner here, the food was delicious and the staff very friendly, a relaxed atmosphere.

Expectations high from recommendations, But bad scheduling of.diners times of arrival meant a kitchen unable to cope and provide the excellence expected: a rare fillet steak arriving overcooked ( well done!) and a dry welsh shoulder ('terrine'?) despite excellent starters of small starters of mackerel and a crab with barti rum. Did not charge for the steak and front of house friendly, helpful and apogetic

We visited The Copper Pot on Saturday with some friends and we really enjoyed our meal from start to finish. The service was good, the atmosphere was good and the food and wine were tremendous. Would definitely recommend and visit again if we are back in the area.

We were recommended the secret garden by the old vicarage b and b. If you have the chance to eat in a pod, so so. We have a dog so that’s the perfect t option. Menu was really interesting, lots of content, flavours and above all passion in each dish. The shoulder of lamb was excellent and so wa the aubergine dish. The word to describe the passion fruit cream dessert was “ insane”. Superb food , compliments to the chefs.

The food and service is excellent. I have been a customer of The Happy Lok for the last three years and can confirm that the food is always very delicious. The staff and service are also very efficient and very pleasant.

A very enjoyable and delicious meal in a very pleasant setting with friendly staff- highly recommended- will return!

Booked a lunch table (not the easiest to do as it was difficult to find the booking link if not on the correct social media...). Great location for a meal / hike, however.... Difficult to park as car park was full to overflowing..... Menu claimed "Gower Cod" which based on my fishing experience on the Gower is unlikely in mid summer.... food a little underwhelming - burger very, very well done/overcooked (nothing like the succulent picture on line), Lobster very small and accompaniment not impressive. Service very attentive, but overall experience let down by the quality of the food.

Lovely service and food Great location

We had such a lovely time here! The friendly, welcoming staff made the whole experience feel extra special – even surprising our four-legged friend with a couple of sausages (how kind is that?). Delicious food, hearty portions, and a genuinely warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!
