Second visit here recently. I have dietary requirements and they catered for me beautifully. Staff all very professional and friendly. Delicious food. Highly recommend

Came here for my final meal as a Cardiff student as a moving out dinner. The atmosphere was lovely with lots of plants and nice music. The waitress was very attentive, despite working solo on the phone as well! The food was exceptional quality. Satay was delicious and homemade, the ribs were a good portion for a starter with no gristle. Prawn toasts were nice a hot so were fresh and cooked to order. Aromatic duck rolls to share were also a good standard. Mee goreng was flavourful with enough sauce to coat the noodles, they are not stingy with the prawns either. They were kind enough to allow a mix of the honey roast pork and crispy roast pork for a main which were both morish. The whole spicy lime seabass was presented beautifully with lovely fragrant sauce with lime, fish sauce and chilli flavour adding a great umami flavour. Pineapple fried rice was again fantastic, a huge portion with lots of large prawns, highly recommend getting rather than a standard egg fried rice. Although I don’t recall much pineapple in it, not that I missed it as the flavour alone was brilliant. A side of sambal beans was a nice spicy refreshment. Overall this was <£100 for 3 people which including soft drinks I think is a bargain in any major city. Happy Lok is one of a favourite restaurants in Cardiff and will miss not having it on my doorstep. Thanks for a great final send off

Horrible experience

Took my aunt with my husband for a lovely meal. Great decor, food was delicious and lovely staff.

We booked a meal for a Saturday evening as we have heard great things. Great food and great service and well priced.. Highly recommended , looking forward to the next time.

Walked the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with our backpacks and had a refrehshing two days stay at this wonderful hotel! Very friendly and welcoming staff, fantastic room and food. Coming to Wales, we will surely stay here again :-) Peter and Petra

2 night stay with wonderful breakfasts and a really excellent dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Loved the food, service and decor in the bedroom. Will definitely come back to explore the area some more. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend highly.

Excellent meal freshly cooked.

A wonderful place to eat . A wet evening but still able to sit outside comfortably in one of the pods for pre dinner drinks. The menu choices were so interesting it was hard to choose. The food was delicious and well presented. Service was very good too. My only complaint would be the crab/melon starter but only in terms of the portion of crab - barely two teaspoons left me wanting more. Also parking is very limited unless you’re a hotel guest so allow time to find parking elsewhere. However everything about the place makes for a special evening.

First class food, service and atmosphere.

Great lunch at the Sailors Safety with delicious food, very polite and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. We were a table of 6 and all of us commented how the food was great and we were all very happy with our chosen dishes. It is a lovely location for a lunch stop and would highly recommend!
