Attentive service, excellent cocktails and a great meal. The Lord Bute is the place to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The menu caters for everyone. Definitely recommend the lobster tails. A credit to the chef as well as the team. We will be returning as The Lord Bute deserves a 5* rating .

Second year running visiting this restaurant. Food as good as before. Enjoyable evening. Great to be able to bring our dog with us into the heated pods, so we could enjoy good food often not available when you have a dog. Helpful staff. Will come back when next here.

I visited on a Saturday evening with three friends for a birthday celebration meal. We were made very welcome and given menus for food and cocktails. I had the Margarita and my friend had another gin based cocktail, we both agreed they were scrummy. Because we have eaten here before we knew the portions were large we all opted for a main course only. The Pork Belly with Black Pudding was sublime. My friends confirmed the steak with peppercorn sauce, and the Smashed Burger were equally as good. The service was attentive without being intrusive and very friendly. There was no problem in dividing the bill, some paid cash, some card. We would definitely eat there again

Truly delicious, lip smacking, glorious Thai food accompanied with lovely warm service. We were a group of 10 celebrating my birthday - it was wonderful from start to finish. The starters were great both in taste and portion size - particular mention must go to the prawn tempura - juicy succulent lightly battered prawns - the best I have ever had!! The mains were again amazing - everybody loved their choice and having been lucky enough to have a little taste of them all it was impossible to say which was our favourite. The wine list was excellent with variety of grapes and prices. Everybody said how much they enjoyed and all looking forward to our next meal at Nok Nok (which will be soon because it was sooooo good). Thank you to the entire team for an immense evening

The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were top-notch, and the staff truly made the evening special. I had the flat iron steak, which was cooked to perfection. The service was warm and attentive, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere from start to finish. If you’re in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Lovely afternoon tea with fresh rustic bread and plenty of filling. Fruit, scones with clotted cream and delicious jam. Plenty of tea. Delicious had to take our cake home as too full.

We enjoyed a pleasant meal on our stay at Llys Meddyg , our mackrel starter was beautifully cooked and went well with the fresh soda bread and salty butter . My Sea Bass was fine served with an interesting crust and sauce as I had to change sauces to avoid mushrooms as per the menu , my husband enjoyed his filet steak with a rich marrowbone sauce , and we added a side dish of asparagus with almonds and Parmesan .everything was cooked well but not quite as exciting or as stunning as we had expected from past reviews . We weren’t tempted by the pudding offerings but very much enjoyed our Sicilian light wine . Our meal was served by two very helpful and kind gentlemen waiters and all in all it was a lovely night and a lovely stay in Pretty Newport , Pembs .

Very lovely meal on Saturday night. 3 of us all ordered different dishes and all were delicious with interesting seasonal flavours. Glorious location beside the beach with a view from the window of a roaring fire pit and a pink streaked sky. Only negative: Please give to loos a refurb as they really let the rest of the thoughtfully decorated establishment down.
