We had a warm welcome, and having 2 dogs a weee shown to one of the pods. This was ideal as it was private. The heat lamp had warmed up the pod. We had scallops followed by the Cote de Beauf for 2 cooked in wood fire - perfect ! Laurence was a great server looking after us very well in amongst crazy Storm Dave . Very memorable . Go if you get the chance .

5 stars !! First visit , could not fault it. So looking forward to Christmas Day

We booked for Sunday lunch 5.4.26 for 6 of us. The food was exceptional, we had sharing platter, all the meats were cooked to perfection and everything else was amazing. First visit for my son who said it’s the best Sunday lunch he’s ever had.

Despite its good reputation our meal was very disappointing. Neither on the starters nor the main course were any of the foods cooked adequately and everything was showered in salt. Even the stem ginger ice cream was lacking any ginger!

We had an absolutely amazing meal here. It was a beautiful evening and the moment we stepped out of the car we were greeted by tne cows in tbe field next door. The views were beautiful, and the air fresh. We went into the pub where a lovely lady quickly showed us to our table, there were 12 of us in total, but there was a slight mix up in meals as we had to cancel 2 meals earlier in the day due to a family emergency. One of the cancelled meals had been plated, however my husband agreed to habe that meal. The overall atmosphere was beautiful. It was quiet as it was a Monday evening, The portions were big, the flavours were gorgeous, the service by the lady was lovely. She was very consciensious in making sure everything was right. The man however was very abrupt regarding the mishap with the meals and came over quite confrontational. Everything else was perfect, the atmosphere, food and service by the lady. The caravan site looked lovely and well kept and made me think about our owm family caravan holidays. I would definitely visit again, and maybe even stay once we have our campervan. Well done to the Chef - who obviously has given this pub its great name 100%

We had a superb meal in the cosy cellar bar. Lovely atmosphere and music and such lovely staff. The food was really excellent and a great considered menu . Excellent value for a lovely evening drinks and meal

We come here regular . 2nd time for a Sunday lunch , we had the platter for two all the meats just melt in ur mouth beef lamb and pork belly . The dinner was absolutely beautiful . Staff always friendly and welcoming too . U won’t b disappointed .

Food and cocktails impeccable as always and the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve eaten, highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere, plenty of room as tables not crowed in and lovely Sunday lunch with plenty of veg.

Had a wonderful evening at the Copper Pot, food was lovely, thank you for doing the chicken supreme for 3 of the guests, only downfall was we would of liked to have had more tenderstem brocolli on the plate instead of just having 3 on a plate. Overall food was lovely. Would definitely visit again.

We arrived a bit early but were able to order some great cocktails whilst we waited for the kitchen to be ready. Served by a friendly FOH person whose name I didn't catch. Our meal was served by Kat who was really warm and friendly and seems to have the patience of a saint. The food was great all round and service in general was really quick and efficient.
