Very cute place. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Was a lovely space to take a long lunch.

We visited 1176 for a team work breakfast and it was excellent. Great atmosphere and service and the food was absolutely delicious. We’d highly recommend the hash browns — they were a standout! We’ll definitely be back for sure. A perfect location as well!

Although a little pricy, the front of house man was fantastic. The right amount of interaction and advice/recommendations. The food was so tasty it was top class. Took my mother for an early mother's day meal. Definitely will visit again.

We’ve been a couple of times now for Sunday lunch and it’s delicious, very attentive and friendly staff and the food is brilliant, will definitely become regulars x

Landlord was happy to move us so we could bring dogs into the bar with us. I chose a beer which landlord steered me away from. Food was great. Everyone loved our dogs! Felt very welcomed and valued. Very easy to see us coming back when they rebrand as a steakhouse.

We were welcomed like we were regulars when it was our first time . Certainly not our last. Our food was beautiful. We went for the sharing meats . We had Sunday lunch. I had put it was my birthday on my booking. All staff wished me happy birthday, sat us in a lovely booth! Has a lovely sitting area outside with plenty of picnic benches and a small park for young children. Perfect for when the weather is nice .

Our first visit to this lovely restaurant having found out recently our favourite chef (Jon) was working here. Sunday lunch was absolutely stunning, staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, thank you. We can’t wait to return soon.

Best Sunday dinner we had it’s that good we have been for the last 5 weeks. Fabulous atmosphere staff and service are excellent I highly highly recommend you will not be disappointed.it would be a 11 out of 10 for us.

Very enjoyable stay we will certainly use Llys Meddyg again.

This was our second visit to Llys Meddyg. We came for our wedding anniversary on Friday 20th February 2026. Our first dilemma was that there was no parking. Eventually had to park on layby near bus terminal out of town. Not ideal as there is no footpath on the sides of the main road. When we got there, we found that the main restaurant was shut and we had been relocated to the cellar bar. We had a tentative young waiter who could have been a little more welcoming and/or given us a little bit of time to get settled. The meal itself was excellent. Innovative, beautifully presented and delicious. Sadly, our final coffees were very disappointing. The one short americano warm and the flat white was more a single shot latte with overheated milk. Not the best lasting impression. On the whole, great food but the overall experience wasn't as good as our previous visit.

The best Sunday dinner I’ve had in ages! I can’t wait to come back to try the other menu. My partner and I heard about this place when we last came to west wales, but we couldn’t get in due to it being fully booked. We made sure this time we had a reservation, and it didn’t disappoint. Also big props to our waitress, she was so great, and very friendly. Lovely place. We will be back.

My wife and I went to the restaurant for their Valentine's day evening meal. We had a memorable time. The food was excellent, each course a sheer delight. The staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful. Would heartily recommend going for a meal.

We had a friends’ get together for brunch at 1176 and they were fantastic! So friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. Will definitely return!

Cat/Kat was absolutely outstanding, she made the whole evening brilliant, her warm personality made us feel welcome. Food was excellent, options on menu were fantastic.
