The Copper Pot – CardiganDon't pre book unless you 100% know you can attend or they'll charge you £5 per head regardless of your circumstances. I booked on the day in the morning but unfortunately had to cancel in the afternoon after my dog was in a tragic traffic accident and got hit by a car. I explained the reason and got zero compassion or empathy from the staff. I would have rebooked at a later date as I only live down the road but I sadly won't be returning now. They're sadly not realising that their strict policy to charge for cancellations is actually going to cost them more in the long run from genuine loyal customers who would have revisited time and time again.
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyMy wife and I had a fantastic meal we couldn’t fault it. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and a delight. We staying in the hotel and had the breakfast in the morning which was also fantastic.
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportBwyd blasus iawn a digon o amrywiaeth i blesio pawb yn ein grŵp mawr (16 o bobl). Roedd y staff yn hollol hapus i newid pethau yn ôl gofynion yr unigolion (di-glwten, gyda neu heb hufen iâ, bagel yn lle bara, ayb) a dim byd yn achosi unrhyw broblem. Er bod tipyn o gwsmeriaid eraill yn y bwyty ar yr un pryd â ni, roedd hen ddigon o le ac nid oedd yn rhy swnllyd. Awyrgylch i ymlacio ynddo, a digon o olau haul yn dod i mewn i ni'i fwynhau. Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi.
1176 Cardigan – CardiganThis was a special place to celebrate several belated birthdays and anniversaries. The whole family including dogs enjoyed and thank you for such a personal service.
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportVisited on a number of occasions….Sunday lunch, Christmas meal and weekdays lunch. On all occasions the service was first class, the food was superb and of a high quality. Can’t recommend enough and will certainly be back.

1176 Cardigan – Cardigan6 of us visited the Rivers Edge for the first time 4/4/26. We were all impressed with the food, all meals were very well presented and delicious. The mains are of a generous proportion. We shall be returning again , thank you
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyMyself and my family visited yesterday afternoon in what was a last-minute meal. The team at Rivers Edge were able to accommodate us and gather our pre-orders to ensure that everything was up to scratch on the day, with it being such a large party. Food and atmosphere was lovely, along with extremely friendly staff. Would recommend
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyWhat a find! Really beautiful food & lovely staff in a gorgeous renovated pub. Can't wait to return soon!
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyAttended recently for what was expected to be a lovely family meal, as that’s what we’ve had previously. 2 hours before our reservation, I received a call from a member of staff asking me for pre-order for 5 adults and 2 children, when I asked why I was told it was so they could ensure they had everything in stock. There are only 10 items on the menu. I found this odd as when I had attended before, with 11 family members, we’ve never been asked this. I felt pressured into calling round family to find out what they wanted. Never the less, I did so and called it through. Upon arrival, we were informed that they ‘had no fries as they were waiting on their delivery’, again, thought this strange as there was an option of ‘loaded fries’ on the menu. We were THE ONLY party in for the lunch sitting so thought it rude that we were expected to preorder when there was no one else there. Regarding the food: the cheese on the burger had be left for so long that it had pretty much evaporated, my son wouldn’t eat it. The lasagne had no texture to it and tasted like a frozen one, also had a strange ‘fruity’ taste. One member of staff, I think with red/brown hair and glasses was lovely sadly the lady who I assume to be the manager was quite abrupt. Maybe there is a new chef to the last time I went because previously it has been incredible. Sadly won’t be going back or recommending to others

Happy Lok – CardiffWe had a warm welcome, and having 2 dogs a weee shown to one of the pods. This was ideal as it was private. The heat lamp had warmed up the pod. We had scallops followed by the Cote de Beauf for 2 cooked in wood fire - perfect ! Laurence was a great server looking after us very well in amongst crazy Storm Dave . Very memorable . Go if you get the chance .

The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyWe booked for Sunday lunch 5.4.26 for 6 of us. The food was exceptional, we had sharing platter, all the meats were cooked to perfection and everything else was amazing. First visit for my son who said it’s the best Sunday lunch he’s ever had.
