Bacchus Prestbury is our family's favourite restaurant. The varied menu, high quality ingredients and food, superb service and friendly welcome never disappoint. Add to this an excellent selection of wines and you have a winning formula. We visited last weekend with family to celebrate a special anniversary, and once again had a fabulous time. Don't miss the Fish & Chips first course or Baked Alaska dessert!

Lovey cosy pub. Even though it was quiet there were enough people to give a low hum of conversation. We had a leisurely meal (21/2hours worth). Staff friendly and service was discreet. Just under £20 each for mains, deserts and drinks. I really like the fact they do smaller portions for some meals. 3rd time I have been. Good every time.

Hands down one of the best Sunday Roasts I have had ! One point lost purely down to the fact the Yorkshires are not home made, if they were it would 5 across the board. Don't let this put you off though, as the roasties are the best , simply the best

Good food nice staff

We visited on a Tuesday at 5:30 and chose from the Chippy Tea Tuesday menu. It was delicious, nicely presented and great value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's a lovely old building, full of character with a nice atmosphere. The seasonal autumnal decorations were not lost on us, giving a warm and welcoming vibe. We didn't want to leave!

We visited the awaiting Lion for the first time to meet with friends for lunch. We were given a very warm welcome. The interior is superb - a real fire in the bar with plenty of space. The restaurant is bright and airy but very cosy with plenty of room between the tables. We were given as much time as we wanted with no pressure from staff. The menu has a great range of meals and caters for those with particular dietary preference and requirements. The mens also offers great value for money. The service was superb - efficient, polite and friendly. We will certainly visit again.

Another fabulous meal at Pacino's You are always assured a friendly welcome, great food with ample choice and you never feel rushed. Plenty of time to eat, chat and enjoy the atmosphere

Nice cosy pub, was surprised at how warm it was. (Welcome this time of year). Polite staff and friendly environment. Food was nice as were the deserts. Sorry I didn't take any photos. Plenty of parking space and a dog friendly part of the pub available too. Will definitely visit again soon.
