Lovely food , brilliant service , lovely staff

There was 8 of us for afternoon tea. We were given a beautiful little private room overlooking the garden. The sandwiches were beautiful and fresh. The cakes were beautiful also. We couldn't finish the cakes because the scones were far too big, they tasted beautiful, though one person thought it was very dry. Had the scones been a dainty size I could have eaten the cakes also,my only complaint. I would come again it was a an enjoyable social afternoon. The staff very attentive and professional they kept us topped up with tea.

It was my first time here so didn’t know what to expect, but the service was phenomenal, all the staff were lovely and courteous. We didnt feel rushed and it was all lovely and relaxed. The food was amazing too. The portion sizes are great for the money. We left very full!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended we had a Sunday lunch and the chef adapted a meal for us, nothing to much trouble.

Great food but poor service, initial waitress left us for 20 mins on the drink order, then had to come back to check what we wanted again. It took another 10 mins before she took our food order. Unprofessional appearance of initial waitress.

Fantastic service food was amazing , we love this place

We stayed two nights in a room at the Egerton Arms and had our meals there both evenings. There was a sufficient choice of dishes for us. We didn't have to wait long before or after ordering the food. It was all tasty and the portions were generous to the extent that after starters and mains we skipped desserts. The selection of wines on offer was reasonable. Service to table was very good. On average for the two nights we paid £75 per night for aperitifs, two course meal and wine. Very good value for money.

Very good meal, great service and loved the room. An enjoyable evening. Unfortunately there was no dessert menu as the chef for desserts was off sick so we were disappointed. Always like a pudding after a meal. So maybe should have bought some in from somewhere??? However it won’t put us off returning…
