We had a wonderful meal at the Egerton Arms in Astbury. There was almost 50 of us from 12 to over 80 years of age. We had arranged with Ian beforehand that we would descend on them and had sorted out a do-able menu. Everyone enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the staff were really brilliant. I know from personal experience that providing a hot meal for a large number of people is not easy, but it was managed with ease. Thank you.

We recently visited The Plough for mums 80th birthday and it was everything we wanted and more. The staff were excellent with helping us look after my mum and her friends and family, nothing was too much trouble. The food was also superb everything was so fresh and cooked perfectly. If anyone is looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion then I can't definitely recommend The Plough I will definitely be returning.

My friend and I had a lovely lunch at the Egerton Arms last week. Excellent welcome and service. A friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The only criticism is that the menu is a little limited, especially if you don’t like Italian food.

For me the main thing is the staff. They are always so obliging and happy to serve you. The food is always fresh and hot. It’s a lovely atmosphere. The chicken wings are the absolute best!! There is no where that I know of that can do them as tasty as Panama’s. 5* for these everytime. We look forward to coming again

4th time and as good as the first time we booked will be booking again. Sunday lunch is fantastic

We were celebrating my son’s birthday, and we couldn’t have chosen better. It’s a fabulous experience at Panama Hatties as well as a jolly fine restaurant to dine in. The service is 1st class, quick, but not so that you feel rushed or under any pressure to finish eating. The food is delicious. Portions just right. The choice of drinks is good and not overpriced. Overall a rather lovely dining experience

What a wonderful experience! Bacchus is one of those restaurants I've driven past for years and for some reason never gone to. We booked a joint birthday meal for myself and my Mum and I'm so glad we did! There was a lovely atmosphere! Every staff member gave the highest possible level of service and we loved that although it was definitely a more fancy meal, it was fancy without the pretentiousness you find in some high end restaurants. You could tell the waiters genuinely love their jobs, they made the experience so special. They were attentive, refilling wine or clearing the table but without being obtrusive. The food was excellent, the cheese soufflé was one of the best starters I've ever had. Very refined but at the same time very homecooked and comforting style of food. Wine was really reasonably priced too. We appreciated the little touches such as bread and canapés. Highly recommend and hope we can visit again soon!

Great food I would be back again! Only problem was we had to ask for desserts as we weren’t asked by the young waitress if we wanted anything else .

Yet another lovely meal this time to celebrate our anniversary. Can’t fault anything. Excellent food, service, ambience and such good value for money. Everything just seems to come naturally with all of the staff, so attentive without being obtrusive

Excellent food and staff. Lots of parking spaces available at this pub, also has good outside space with plenty of tables and chairs. Lots of choice on their regular menu but also two specials boards and a pizza menu. We were looked after very well and enjoyed our lunch. Highly recommend The Cock, Henbury.

Nice table, good service and excellent beer. We went at lunchtime and really just wanted a sandwich. Unfortunately the choice was very poor so we won’t venture again for lunch

Had a lovely afternoon tea at Mere Court Hotel bought through Groupon. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty, scones home made and delicious. Took my cakes home for later as was so full! The service and the staff were excellent. Will definitely return.
