Fantastic place to go. We booked online only about 1/2 hour before our visit. 2 lovely ladies greeted us and the service was excellent throughout. Can thoroughly recommend the Wexford steak, delicious and just melted in your mouth. The Wet Nelly rounded off our meal beautifully. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyBooked a table online which was really easy to do. Our party of 5 included a vegan and a pescatarian so we often struggle with places for us all to eat outside a city centre. However we were very impressed with the menu at the Plough. There were choices for all of our group. The food arrived altogether after a short wait and everyone was impressed with their meals. Lovely and hot and incredibly tasty. There were even desserts that we were all able to enjoy. Our server even went to check with the kitchen that one of our choices was vegan, which it was. Overall we had a fantastic time. The restaurant itself had a lovely atmosphere and was very clean. The servers were all very cheery too. Our food was delicious and very well priced and we will definitely be booking again.

We were met by the staff who quickly saw us to our table , with a lovely view over the gardens and the pond. The tea and prosecco was quick to arrive, followed by the cream tea. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are super. Will definitely be back. Sunday lunch next!

Birchwood Spice – WarringtonLovely Sunday lunch meal - struggled to find a pub offering more than a Sunday roast but the menu at The Carriers Inn ticked all the boxes for a group of 6 mixed age friends. One amazing Sunday lunch, two fab burgers, one gorgeous bbq chicken pizza and two great kids lunches followed by kids ice cream. Staff were very friendly and really accommodating with one fussy eater, great relaxed setting, suitable for dogs and great selection of drinks. Would definitely recommend and will certainly let be heading back. Refreshing to have a pub which serves good, honest, home cooked food without trying to be too fancy

Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordWe booked an afternoon tea for my Aunt's 100th birthday and we were not disappointed. We were a tricky group with a wide range of allergies and all were accommodated; the tea was delicious and the gluten free scones were the best I have ever tasted. The hotel were welcoming and allowed us to come earlier than our booked time to decorate the table and bring balloons and decorations, The waiting staff were helpful and obliging. We had a fabulous time and would not hesitate to book again.
