Friendly and efficient service, good value for money, and tasty food.

Had a lovely afternoon. Sandwiches very fresh and a choice of 4 fillings. Scones were beautifully fresh and warm with some extra finger cakes which we didn’t manage to eat but took home. Staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely worth the money we paid on groupon

We eat here regularly, the food is always excellent as is the service. Staff always pleasant and helpful.

Visited Friday lunchtime and had the 3 for £15 tapas meal, which was excellent value. Loved the pork belly and chicken skewers, the meatballs, chicken wings & stuffed mushroom were also great. Service was prompt and pleasant in nice surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyable & we’ll be back.

I have had several Afternoon Teas at this establishment and cannot fault the food, atmosphere, surroundings and the staff who are exceedingly helpful and courteous... It's for that reason we continue to return... A Great Afternoon...

We had a great meal on Saturday night at the Tigers Head, our local pub. We all had different items from the menu and all meals were of high quality. All the dishes were served piping hot which was exactly how they should be ! The service from the staff was very good and our drinks were replenished at the table without having to go the bar. The draught Weetwood bitter was particularly good. All in all well done to the Tigers Head. It is great to have our local pub delivering quality meals again.

Came in for a meal with some friends who came up from Cornwall as we have done before when they have visited food & staff were lovely the only think was off putting is that they let people vape in side where people are eating the smell was so bad as it was right near us obviously it is allowed because the staff was chatting & laughing with them & never said a word because of this I will not be visiting again such a shame

Attended yesterday with my friend for an afternoon tea. Great waiter. Good at checking in. Great food. Choice of different tea or coffee. Endless teapot which was nice. Good choice of cakes. Scones were warm which was nice ... My ONLY criticism, the cream was not clotted cream. You can't have whipped or fake cream with a scone! Otherwise it would have been 5/5!

We received a voucher for afternoon tea and I have to say it was absolutely delicious. The service was fabulous and the staff very friendly.

Lovely dinner, the price of the two course dinner was very good value and delicious, but the service was so attentive with charm and humour it made the evening special.

I frequently visit The Alvanley Arms with my mum the food is always lovely ( good portion sizes) and the staff very friendly and helpful

We enjoyed a lovely meal here, lovely service and in a lovely spot. Plenty of choice on the menu with lots of choice for coeliacs in particular which was a great treat for myself.

We booked the Egerton Arms for the wake, after our father’s funeral. Ian was very helpful & attentive from the outset. We opted for a cold buffet option in the private dining room. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was. It was very fresh & excellent quality. Plenty of food to go around. The tea & coffee was regularly topped up. Staff were discreet tidying up around us & service at the bar was speedy. This was our 1st choice for the wake as our Dad liked traditional pubs & it exceeded our expectations. Thank you Ian.

Great food, lots of choice, very good for gluten free, most of the menu can be adapted. Good service, and reasonable prices.
