Lovely food, really friendly staff. Very lively atmosphere; I assume lots of regulars as there was a lot of cross table walking around and chatting. Not ideal for a peaceful meal/date night but that’s not the fault of Elmas - the food was delicious and wine was good.

Absolutely fabulous. We were just a party of 3, 2 of us having pizza which was so good and 1 had the steak & ale pie that she said was packed with meat that just melted in the mouth. We were staying at Forest Holidays about a couple of miles away. We will certainly highly recommend the pub and especially to people we may meet when staying there next year. Already booked so we'll be back next time and hopefully before as we don't live too far away. Thank you so much, everyone.

My husband and myself came here recently for a meal for his 40th birthday and the food and service were perfect! The food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing and super fresh! The service was amazing and could not fault anything, we were looked after so well and would not hesitate to recommend anyone we know to come here and would love to book in again if we ever revist chester.

My favourite Italian restaurant in Chester. I always love coming here as Sam makes us feel so special every time we visit. We have been coming a few years now and have seen how successful he has become which is a testament to the delicious food and excellent service.

Good food, excellent atmosphere and very good service. Needs a specials menu for those who go regularly otherwise the menu is limited.

Food and service were excellent, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and attentive to our every need. We even got a lesson on how to make Melba toast! We live in Canada so cannot visit very often but this was our second visit and we will be back. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable.

Our first time visiting the Egerton Arms and safe to say we’ll definitely be returning. Food was lovely and staff couldn’t have done more for us, being able to take home our desserts with feeling a little full after the starters and mains Great place and highly recommended

Excellent food, only downside was that 3 out of 4 meals . Had to ask 5 minutes later for the last meal , by then I was eating on my own

Carbonara was a little cold compared to the other pasta ordered, but delicious nonetheless. Gorgeous building with friendly, helpful staff. Service is prompt and food comes quickly. Definitely recommend.
