Service is excellent, friendly, caring & helpful (we had my mum with us who has Alzheimer’s) We were a bit ‘bored’ of food as we had eaten out 3 days on the run as we are on holiday. There were 5 of us and we all chose something we wouldn’t usually order. Food arrived in a decent time and was delicious. The pizzas were very tasty. And best of all it didn’t cost a small fortune - get value for money.”

We got an afternoon tea voucher and I contacted the hotel to enquire as to whether they would be able to cater for my coeliac daughter. The reply was yes (which I wasn’t expecting especially as it was a voucher) When we got there, the lady who greeted us with her beautiful smile said she understood that coeliac was a “celery allergy” - oh no! My heart sank but she quickly corrected herself. I was dubious then wondering what was going to be served to my daughter (she is only 10 & was really excited for this!) and honestly, I cannot fault the food, the service, the atmosphere - absolutely everything was just brilliant. Thank you so much for our treat, we have posted reviews on the coeliac Facebook pages that I am on so I hope you get lots more business from a very happy mama!!

After a lovely stroll around Delemere we had a beautiful beef roast dinner accompanied with a delicious red Shiraz, recommended by staff. Lovely atmosphere with very friendly, helpful staff. Thank you to all x

Great sunday lunch 3 course offer menu. very relaxed atmosphere but great food and very friendly. Will go again for an evening spash out.

Excellent food and service. We went for my daughters 21st celebration, thinking Friday night would be buzzing but sadly the restaurant was dead. Only 3 tables of people. Never seen it so quiet

What a find!!! Congleton and surrounding areas have an array of lovely pubs to have a perfect Sunday lunch but The Egerton Arms has after yesterday become our favourite - the service was fantastic and the meal was stunning! We went at 3.30pm which was a little quite for atmosphere but we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Great place for Sunday lunch, thank you to all of the staff who made it so lovely yesterday.

Good location / atmosphere. Excellent service. Menu ok but not outstanding. Had Massaman curry which was just ok. My friend had ribs and chicken wings which again was ok. May have to look at other menu items next time. Been around 20 years since last there but will be returning soon.

Great service, nice big table. Food was delicious. The non-alcoholic cocktails are a particular plus for me.

Lovely hotel. Used a voucher to take four of us out for afternoon tea. Very well presented. We each had large individual teapots. Really good sandwiches, very tasty. The scones were excellent and served warm. The cakes were a lovely selection, especially the Bakewell tart and lemon sponge. The room was small, quiet and intimate.

We visited to celebrate my Dad’s 84th birthday on Saturday 12th, it was my parents first visit and they were very impressed! All of our meals were excellent, the staff as always couldn’t do enough for us , and we had a lovely evening! Thank you team Egerton!

We went for a meal before walking round the lake and I’m glad we stopped by. The food was really tasty, not too fussy but everything was cooked well and we had a good time. The service was great too.
