It was utterly horrendous ! We walked in and one of your miserable staff just pointed to a table did not even look at our booking and the fact that I had asked for a table at the side of the room and the noise was utterly HORRENDOUS 5 The music coupled with very loud antisocial screaming by one woman at the bar ! I could not hear it doesn’t go my friend across the table ! I will never book Elmas again ! I had not seen my friend for quite some time and we could not even have a conversation ! It was utterly terrible with the noise. We had the worst evening ever.

Fabulous lunch. Been a couple of times for dinner as well. Food is fresh and well presented. Service excellent and very friendly. There are too many cafes opening in Macclesfield that serve overpriced, lacklustre food with poor customer service. This place is an absolute gem. Thank you

Had a delicious birthday lunch at Bacchus last Thursday - food was very tasty, service was excellent and served in very relaxed surroundings. Our first visit there but we will be back and would highly recommend.

What a pleasure it was to have lunch yesterday at the Egerton Arms. The food and service were exceptional. We ate in the very comfortable dining room but would have been just as happy in the lovely bar or outside.

Don't know why we haven't been for so long - it's just as good as it was 5 or 6 years ago. Delicious food, friendly service, as if we're the only ones that matter. Cosy atmosphere. Have already recommended to others. Thank you for making it a lovely evening.

An excellent meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Very good waiter but the restaurant was very quiet and slightly lacking in atmosphere.

Waited 20 mins for drinks then got brought one of the meals wrong and had to wait 30 min for the other meal to come
