Lovely night, lovely food, extremely hospitable can't wait to go back

First time visiting the restaurant,but had heard good reviews. Staff very friendly and attentive.food varied ,interesting and very enjoyable. We felt the booths to the rear were a little too cramped,but the staff managed to get us a nice table towards the front of the restaurant. Service and food very good and of high quality . Thankyou.

Perfect anniversary meal. Lovely dips to start and a fabulous seafood paella. to follow - we didn’t have room for pud. Attentive but unobtrusive service in a great setting.

In my opinion this is a little gem, the food has always been really good here, the service is always fantastic. If you're in Macclesfield and you want somewhere to eat it's totally worth going. It's very good value for money.

Took my husband for his birthday with some trepidation as he loves large food portions and hates picking his food!!! I needn't have worried.......we both loved the restaurant and the food on offer!!! Good sized portions...can certainly recommend the garlicky chicken...and lovely attentive waiting staff and management!!!

Really excellent meal at Salt bar on 15th December. Took some friends who live outside Macc and they were most impressed.

I always enjoy the food service and ambiance (gorgeous walls of flowers) at Lilac Cottage. The food is of high quality, the menu is broad so you will be spoilt for choice, the foods are made to order so are very fresh. The service was friendly and attentive and our needs were anticipated. We chose the house red and house white wines and were not disappointed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and look forward to dining there again.

used the new online booking option to book the table (worked a treat and even issued a reminder!). We had the sharing platter and the chocolate cake, which were all excellent as usual

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed a really lovely meal here recently. Service was outstanding and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. The restaurant had a nice vibe with fabulous decor. It manages to be modern yet cosy at the same time. Absolutely gets a 10 out of 10 from us and we can't wait until we meet here for lunch again. Definitely our new 'go to'.

Absolutely fabulous day at Bistro M'agrada. I had mussels and they honestly were the best mussels I've ever eaten. Lovely atmosphere, extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming staff and delicious food.

Myself, my husband and three good friends went for a meal at The Cheshire Yeoman Saturday 27th November. This was our last get together for 2021. The staff were very friendly and the service very good. The food was excellent and great value. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and tables spaced out regarding Covid conditions. We will definitely go there again and recommend to our family and friends.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere...

We love Lilac Cottage. Last Saturday was a special celebration and they made such a fuss of us. Great food, attentive service and so very friendly. Eliza provided lovely background music. We look forward to our next visit.
