Great service. Prompt for a party of 20+ Good food well presented

Service, food, atmosphere all excellent

What a fantastic pub to visit lovely fresh food made to order. The staff make you feel very welcome and homely. We had a Sunday lunch and I’ve got to say it’s was the best and freshest we’ve ever had.

The beetroot and Brie tart was loverly but the pastry around the edge was over cooked. Duck again was loverly. Very busy for a Wednesday lunchtime. Looking forward to returning soon.

We enjoyed our first visit and will be back

We have just had Afternoon Tea @ The Mere Court Hotel, which is set in lovely quiet gardens. The food was excellent. Fresh tasty sandwiches, and beautiful scones and cakes. Will definitely be going back again. Many thanks to all the staff at the hotel.

Monday was the third time I have done the afternoon tea with my mum, the service is amazing and the food was fresh and tasty

After nearly 15 years since our last (for no other reason than life taking over!) we introduced a new generation of the family to Panama Hatties. To say it brought back fond memories would only partially sum up our experience. This visit brought fond recollections as well as creating new memories. Classic favourites on the menu did not disappoint and new offerings made sure the youngest (18 months) to the oldest (75) were delighted with their meals. The warm and friendly welcome and excellent service will bring us back a lot quicker next time, we won’t be waiting for another ‘big’ birthday that’s for sure

It was our first visit to your restaurant with our friends on Monday evening, the food was lovely, the service was great and the cheeky Tiramisu was amazing thank you. Overall we all enjoyed our visit and we will be back again very soon.

Booked a table well in advance for 5.30pm and was looking forward to the Sunday roast. However upon arriving we were served drinks and then were told there were no more Sunday Roasts. We left and went to another pub in the same chain where we received a lovely Sunday Dinner. Unlikely to return

Lovely afternoon tea. Very attentive service, lovely sandwiches cakes and endless fresh supplies of tea. Lovely gardens to stroll around. Overall my friends and I had a lovely afternoon.

Excellent Sunday lunch very good value for money

Some choice for veggies and vegans. Good to see protein included eg tofu. Food clearly not cooked on site just reheated but reasonable quality for a pub. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Always good coffee and tasty imaginative nicely presented food. Atmosphere good always . Service always friendly and efficient. Can't make the atmosphere slider below work.

What a fantastic place to visit, Sunday lunch is amazing and all other food looks brilliant. The staff are fantastic and the local people make you feel very welcome. We would highly recommend a visit as you couldn’t ask for a better relaxing atmosphere.

Sunday lunch -2 course for £20- was great value for money. We had roast beef, enormous Yorkshire puddings, with really great gravy and lovely vegetables. Half roast chicken was also available. The starters are a bit unusual to go with a roast, but still nice. If you want sides of stuffing, pigs in blankets or cauliflower cheese there is an extra charge. We tried some of the traditional desserts, all of our party enjoyed them. Super atmosphere, plenty of space, nice staff, and a good selection of non alcoholic drinks for drivers. The restaurant is very clean, tidy and decor is great, feels comfortable and welcoming. Will visit again soon.

Lovely meal staff very pleasant didn’t have to wait to long until we were served
