Visited 6 Aug 19 for dinner. Have eaten here a number of times during the last 18 months and will come again and again as we continue to enjoy the excellent food, most pleasant staff who give excellent service. Lovely atmosphere and value for money. Unreservedly recommend.
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyWe have visited the Hinds Head several times over recent years and always had a good experience. The service and quality of the food has always been excellent and good value for money. On our most recent visit we enjoyed the lunchtime fish & chips and the fillet of sea bass - both well presented and tasty. My only minor comment is that the lunchtime menue doesn't seem to be quite as extensive as it once was - I realise they are trying to keep prices down but maybe to have a couple of lunchtime 'specials' would add a bit more interest to the offer.

Even the coffee was lovely, Service was very attentive and pleasant. I will 100% be going back, If I had to find fault I just didn’t find the chairs comfortable but this wouldn’t deter me going again.

The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyFantastic meal out - Thursday steak special for two including wine for under £30 all in. Couldn't resist the sharer platter of mixed Mediterranean treats. All served with care and flair. The steaks were the best we have had in a long while with the crispiest onion rings and vine tomatoes, mushrooms and home cooked chips. Colette was attentive and friendly. Altogether a most pleasant meal in attractive surroundings. We will be back! Congratulations to the chef and team

Essenza Italian Ristorante – ChorleyAbsolute gem of a pub, right up our street this one!!!!! Really friendly staff, my favourite ale (Windermere pale ale), superb food, great steak deal and dog-friendly ( gave our dog a nice pile of cold-cut beef!). Wish it was near our gaff!!!!

Italian Cottage – ChorleyWe have eaten here several times since Da Vinci opened couple of weeks ago, each time has been absolutely wonderful! The Italian chefs know how to cook proper authentic Italian food! We ate there last night and we thought it could not get any better, but the chef excelled above and beyond! Mike had a fillet steak of substantial size cooked to perfection, with proper home made hot chips and a peppercorn sauce, it was gorgeous! I had gamberoni sanape, which is king prawns plump and delicious cooked in a creamy mustard sauce served with rice and vegetables which was once again gorgeous! The drinks were lovely and cold and the food was hot and delicious. We have tried a few different things on the menu, cannot fault the food and choices. The front of house staff are all very caring, friendly and cannot do enough for you! We are very lucky to have such a lovely Italian Restaurant in our area!
