We were a family of five and we all enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service on Thursday night. Very comfortable seating inside too. It was the last time that the Brass band were playing on the quayside which added to our pleasant dining experience. We will return!
The Slipway – Port IsaacDefinitively worth every penny—the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! So many restaurants try to deliver an upscale, premium dining experience these days, but they almost always seem to fall short when it comes to actual flavour, rarely justifying the steep price tag. The Mote is the complete opposite. They absolutely delivered on taste, freshness, and quality. Every single dish was packed with incredible flavor, proving that they care just as much about the food on the plate as they do about the beautiful historic atmosphere. It was a flawless meal and worth every single penny. If you are looking for an exceptional seafood dinner that genuinely lives up to the hype, this is it. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

The only thing we thought was strange, was that we had to ask if the burger came with fries. Surely all side dishes that come with the meal should be on the Menu. Apart from that we will surely be back soon.

We had the bottomless brunch the food was delicious and very well presented, the cocktails were 100% Wow Wow Wow not loaded to the top of the glass with ice like most places we have been to. The staff were brilliant and made you feel welcome. The decor is very authentic and vibrant which transports your mind to far away places with background music at the right sound level so can still have a conversation without having to shout at each other. This place is an absolute gem and can’t wait to go again we had the best afternoon so thank you Cha Cha Cha we will be definitely returning again.

The Mote – Port IsaacMade a couple of visits to Louis Tea Room previously for Coffee & Cake, always been a good experience, but this time we booked in for the Friday Night Steak Specials. My 16oz “Blue” Sirloin Steak was done perfectly (which can be a rarity) & my wife’s 16oz “Medium Rare” Sirloin Steak was in her words “done to perfection”. All in all a good night with a fabulous view, amazing food & great service from the attentive staff. Rest assured we will be returning again in the not too distant future. The only improvement I could suggest would be the inclusion of mushrooms with the steaks.
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonHad lunch with son and daughter in law,who were down from London.Two fish n Chips One mushroom and poached egg ,and One BLT,We all thought our meals were very enjoyable.We also use Olive Tree for drink and cake on most Sundays in the winter very warming and nice atmosphere.Staff very friendly and helpful.
