Lovely meal yesterday evening for 6 of us. Great service from the staff, food quick and really nice.
The Slipway – Port IsaacReally lovely fresh meal and great service, lots of choice and the fish specials were great
The Mote – Port IsaacThe food was amazing staff were really nice ice cream. You don’t have to pay to enter so happy the farm was really nice definitely 5 stars coming back .
The Croust House at Roskillys Ice Cream – The LizardNot as good as previous years. The service wasn’t great, think they were understaffed as constantly rushing around. It would be good to have a ‘no dogs’ area. As someone with serious allergies it’s not great having someone else’s dog right at your feet while you’re trying to enjoy your meal. The food was good but overpriced. Was not informed about the menu changes until I went to order. Probably won’t return which is disappointing as this seems to be our ‘go to’ when we return to port Isaac
The Mote – Port IsaacAwesome place, fab food, great friendly service and a stunning view.
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonExtremely good value Sunday Roast, good atmosphere, tables nicely spaced. First time but will definitely return.
The Black Swan – HelstonWaited ages to be served, felt sorry for the girl who served us, she clearly wasn’t coping with the heat very well. The food was mediocre, had a lamb roast, lamb was fatty and chewy and the roast potatoes were hard and seemed to appear to be reheated. Definitely would not go back.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeHad a Sunday roast which was absolutely delightful in every way . The flavours were incredible. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to have another one .
The White Hart – LudgvanWent for Sunday lunch the food was wonderful and plenty of it. Great value for money will definitely be back and will highly recommend it
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonWe had a fabulous Sunday Roast at the Engine Inn. The beef was tender with delicious sides of vegetables and gravy. It was easy to park and the Inn had great atmosphere.
The Engine Inn – PenzanceAbsolutely stunning food, lovely staff and great atmosphere. Can only recommend and we will be back soon. Thank you!
The White Hart – LudgvanI visit Louis tea rooms quite regularly with a variety of friends and it has not yet let me down. The menu has plenty of choice, the service is always lovely and the food is tasty and well presented. I would say the meals are pretty good value for money too. The tea rooms also sell frozen meals, drinks and pasties that you can take away. This time I chose a halloumi salad and there must have been a whole pack of halloumi on my plate! There are also sweet and savory cream teas and a choice of home made cakes and goodies. There is plenty of seating both inside and out, with the best views across the county on a clear day. There is disabled access, and lots of parking too. A lovely place and nicely local.
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonWe stayed in Port Isaac for a week and ate at The Mote three times. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent and with several new specials on each night the choice was amazing. Would absolutely recommend for seafood lovers.
The Mote – Port IsaacThe food was amazing , the staff was were really friendly The food was served really quickly and was piping hot and fresh Would definitely go back if we’re ever in Bude again
Olive Tree – BudeHad an evening meal in bar area. Helpful staff and good atmosphere. We booked on line which went smoothly. Very acceptable fish pie, my wife’s burger was ok but nothing special, bun a bit dry. Prices perhaps a little high but this is a lovely old high street coaching inn, open when you need it…early, to later!
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeBack in Port Isaac for the first time in a few years. Pre booked the Slipway as it was very good last time we visited. Not disappointed still a very nice place to eat and drink, staff were very professuional and friendly and the food was very tasty especially the chilli fries. Thoroughly recommended.
The Slipway – Port IsaacWe arrange for family reunions each year at Olive Tree Bude. They are always helpful by allocating us the quiet table we request. This year was excellent as usual. We all thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and lunches. An added bonus is that Olive Tree have kept to their policy of not allowing pet dogs inside, there is plenty of room outside on the terrace for them. Thank you so much for this.
Olive Tree – BudeLovely friendly pub with great atmosphere.Moroccan root vegetable tagine was gorgeous.
