The Slipway – Port Isaacexcellent food, we had the Sunday roast I had the pork ,my partner had the beef. the meat was tender a great choice of vegetables with plenty of it. For sweet I had lemon meringue with ice cream my partner had the fruit crumble, both were top rate. The ambience was great service prompt and efficient. We will certainly be back.
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonWe live in Gweek and are lucky to have the Black Swan in the village. Recently visited again for Sunday lunch and found the standard just seems to improve each time we go. Starters and mains were excellent, good portions and presentation, staff very friendly and accommodating. Just one small point , the small round tables are much to small for dining, luckily it was not to busy at the time we were there so could make use of another table near by to park some of our food. However this is a minor point, overall our experience was great, will be back again.
The Black Swan – HelstonWe had a carvery yesterday The food was lovely, staff were amazing and as we live locally will definitely be eating here again
The Engine Inn – PenzanceGreat food, compliments to the chef. Well -coming atmosphere Excellent pub for lunch and a good sample of well kept beers. We shall go again.
The Black Swan – HelstonWe visited here three times whilst in Bude, each at different times of the day. Every meal was spot on and delicious. Service is excellent and the staff so friendly. We'll be back next year, hopefully!
Olive Tree – BudeWent for the Bottomless Brunch with a friend and wasn’t disappointed! The waitresses were wonderful and fully explained the deal. They were friendly, funny and polite. The cocktails were superb and the food was delicious. Such a great atmosphere - would definitely recommend
Cha Cha Cha – FalmouthHad a fabulous meal and service in this restaurant. I had seafood linguine and my partner had as he described it the most amazing steak.
The Mote – Port IsaacAlways enjoy, good food lovely atmosphere and great staff thank you
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonAbsolutely fantastic food and the service was second to none. Went for my father's 76th birthday and they went above and beyond with candles on his dessert. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere
Olive Tree – BudeSomewhat disappointed having booked to eat here for our anniversary. Was looking forward to the mussells only for the waitress to come back after 5 minutes to say they had run out. I opted for the seafood linguine instead albeit this would also now be without mussells! Although there wasn't a mussells dish as a starter on either the main menu or specials, the table next to us seemed to have not one but two starters of mussells served to them, made me question if this was why you had run out!? Sadly worse was to come when due to "a mix up in the kitchen" and our "ticket not printing" we found ourselves waiting over 90 minutes for our starters to be served! The staff were very apologetic and in fairness did not charge us for the starters or our bottle of wine but it put somewhat of a downer on our special night. Once it arrived the food was tasty and well presented although my seafood linguine appeared to be primarily king prawns and little else. Having waited so long though I just ate it and enjoyed it for what it was as I feared raising any concern would only lead to a further delay. The staff were hard working and had it not been for the delay overall we would have had a pleasant evening.
The Mote – Port IsaacWe haven’t been here for a couple of years after a couple of bad meals but we’d heard it had improved and it certainly has! Had a lovely meal for 4 of us and all the dishes were excellent and freshly cooked. We will definitely be going back. Great food, great service and great value for money!
The Black Swan – HelstonWe were a party of 30+ on one of the hottest days of the year and The Olive Tree coped admirably well. Thank you for making my 60th celebrations so memorable. Food was delicious and well done for getting everything right.
Olive Tree – BudeFriendly staff, fresh and tasty food with reasonable prices, and a great selection of cocktails. The mocktails get just as much effort, so you won't feel like the odd one out if you go that way. Some lovely views too although obviously not every seat can have one. I really can't think of any way they could have made our experience better.
Cha Cha Cha – FalmouthHad a lovely Sunday lunch, had the roast which was just perfect plus a pint of local ale. Staff were great and well done to the chef! Would recommend!
The Black Swan – HelstonNice place, but very quiet, foods good and staf are great. Could do with a garden revamp and good tidy up..
The White Hart – LudgvanThe food was delicious, the service was prompt and the atmosphere was friendly. I highly recommend a visit.
