Queens Head Inn Tirril – PenrithWe have eaten here before and loved it. We fancied a drive out for an evening meal and it was worth the 100 mile round trip. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and the food was delicious. We’ll be back soon.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeFabulous Saturday evening curry with friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Farmers Arms – UlverstonExcellent food, attentive staff, good selection of real ales, reasonably priced menu, dog friendly pub too, what's not to like. A pub we return to when we visit Keswick. Book in advance, as others appreciate this pub too.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickLovely food and good service staff.made you feel welcome can't wait to go back
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleWe were looking forward to the filet steak but it wasn’t on so quite disappointed. Waited nearly 50mins for some garlic bread as a starter. We arrived at 6:20 for 6:30. The tables were too close together to feel relaxed. The wine and vegetables were lovely and the meat was perfectly acceptable. The desert order was too slow so we had ice cream at home. I think just too many covers at once and not having the advertised choices. Shame. It was fabulous last year.
Lewis’s Bistro – Grasmerebeautiful meal, i had pitta bread ,chilli jam and feta cheese for starter ,so lovely, the pork belly for main course wow was stunning, i did not want it to end, highly reccomend.
Lewis’s Bistro – Grasmere100% recommend - friendly staff, food was delicious - scallops were lovely, melt in the mouth steak and chips, salmon and veg cooked perfectly. We will be back!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe had a fantastic meal at The Pheasant Inn. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, good portions and quality.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFunny old place. The Venison was dry and the dumpling not at all pleasant over powered with herbs and a little raw tasting. The steak pie would have been great apart from the herbs in the gravy. The Gambas Pil Pil were amazing!! All deserts were also fantastic. The seating was a little cramped as I had to sit side saddle for most of my main meal.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickGreat food, great atmosphere we loved it. Would love to return when next in the area
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsAnother fabulous meal. We always make a point of visiting when we holiday in Keswick. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. Make sure you book well ahead, cos this place is always full ❤️
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAlways our last night of the holiday choice. Lovely food and friendly staff. Well worth a visit
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe had lunch at the pub, Fish finger (homemade) butty and chunky chips with side salad. Tasty & good quality although I would have liked a few more chips. Overall, good value. Great, friendly staff. Food & drinks reasonably priced. Lovely setting just off the A6.
