Harry’s Cafe Bar at Yew Tree Barn – Grange-over-SandsVisited The Pheasant for Sunday dinner and would definitely recommend Very cosy pub. Warm welcome. The service was excellent and the roast beef sunday dinner was delicious. Will definitely come back when we're in the lakes
Pheasant Inn – KeswickReally lovely Sunday lunch. Both beef and veggie options were fab. Sides were delicious. Highly recommend. Staff very efficient, relaxed but luxurious environment
Harry’s Cafe Bar at Yew Tree Barn – Grange-over-SandsShe did return to another great Sunday lunch. The vegetarian option, Butternut/parsnip pie was delicious served with perfectly cooked veg. The lemon posset was a very refreshing follow up. Great service, the team looked after us exceedingly well. A real treat on a dark, misty, icy January day. We'll be back early February. Thank you!
Harry’s Cafe Bar at Yew Tree Barn – Grange-over-SandsLovely meal, staff prompt & attentive 10/10 vegetables sublime will be back & will recommend to friends & family
Harry’s Cafe Bar at Yew Tree Barn – Grange-over-SandsExcellent service and great food. We had the tapas dishes. Plenty of food. The chorizo was beautiful. Highly recommend.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleWe had a lovely meal at the Pheasant, the food was delicious. The service was perfect and the atmosphere there is very friendly. This is not the first time we have been there and it will not be the last.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFood absolutely delicious, we both had the Sunday roast and also ordered a plate of fries which are amazing. For desert we both had the apple crumble, one with cream and the other with custard. Portion sizes are great Staff are so lovely and friendly, highly recommend, we will definitely be back
Greyhound Inn Cotehill – CarlisleExcellent atmosphere and service from the moment we arrived. We had an extra diner which was catered for without any fuss whatsoever. We all selected either chicken or beef pies and both were superb, nothing was left on any plates at all. Value for money was very good, all in all, a cracking meal in a cracking pub.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickThe restaurant itself has been decorated and laid out lovely. Staff were very welcoming. There were four of us and we ordered a sharing board and some small plates to share. Portion sizes were perfect, everything was cooked fresh and tasted delicious and service was really prompt. Favourites for us were the cod cheeks, croquettes, Hitchin? Chicken although as it was all so nice we would eat everything we ordered again. Drinks menu was also plentiful we had wine and beers and finished with a cocktail each. I would recommend the espresso martini. We will 100% be back.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleWonderful meal, great value and we were well looked after. Too full for pudding but will be back to try them.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe had a lovely meal on the evening of January second. Very tasty food and excellent, pleasant service.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleFirst time visiting the Greyhound and not disappointed. The food was delicious and the portion size was just right, I'm not a big eater but could quite easily eat three courses. The deserts could have been a bit hotter but overall a very enjoyable evening. Service and choice of food on the menu was very good. Would recommend.
Greyhound Inn Cotehill – CarlisleAs with every time I visit I had a great time, wonderful food, great atmosphere and good people.
