Excellent food in a relaxed environment. Extremely friendly and efficient service. Good value for money. The air conditioning was a godsend on a sweltering hot day!

Lovely bistro and dog friendly too. Great food and attentive service. Ordered a bottle of the Amarone (Chef's favourite) and it didn't disappoint.

Oh dear , where to start!!! Massively under staffed, as a result told not serving starters. Instead of limiting bookings it was rammed. We waited over an hour for our meals which considering we had young tired children was annoying. We weren’t told of a wait and no one came to apologise or reassure us. The meals arrived but unfortunately the fish that was served was off. When I spoke to the manager I was offered 10% off the fish. Totally unacceptable. Finally the manager did take the cost of that meal off the bill but it was very awkward! A real shame as I had booked this meal months in advance.

Recommend by the locals of Grassmere and we were not disappointed the food atmosphere and service top class treacle pudding to die for be aware you best book to avoid disappointment

We arrived and our table was ready. It was a hot day and thought I would have a lighter meal until I saw the steak pie come out to another table. I ordered it and was not dissatisfied one of the best pies I have had. I would recommend the Pheasant Inn as it was great food and service.

Lovely food, fish and chips were delicious and filling. The children’s menu was disappointing, only 3 main meal choices, not very imaginative which meant the kids meal was a bit on the expensive side.

We were a little early but our table for 10 was ready and we were welcomed in. All food was excellent and service was too,despite the numbers we did not have to wait too long. As we had brought family members who had not eaten there before it can stressful if somewhere is not as good as you remembered it but fortunately this was not the case and all who came went away extremely happy! Thank you to all, we will be back again.

Wonderful Italian restaurant in Carlisle. Warm, cozy, inviting atmosphere. Food was expertly prepared and delicious, and the service was impeccable. You will not be disappointed.

Fabulous experience at Lewis’s restaurant ! Intimate and classy restaurant. Easy online booking system with great availability for a last minute shout. Wide and well thought out menu catering for all tastes & reasonably priced . Well cooked & delicious food, served promptly and courteously by the most friendly front of house staff. Drinks complimented the meal completely. Would definitely recommend and return.

Lovely meal there last night to celebrate our anniversary. Attentive staff and nice ambience despite being a man down. Hasta la vista.
