Having a 3 night stay in Grasmere, we were looking for different restaurants each night. We looked up Lewis Bistro and found an inviting menu with great reviews. So we booked in on our second night. We were so glad we did. The setting is cosy and welcoming, staff were so lovely and gave great service and the food, well that was just delicious, so much so we booked again for our third night. We will definitely be back. We visit Grasmere a lot so we will certainly look forward to visiting again. Thanks Lewis Bistro for making our stay memorable with gorgeous food. By the way if anyone is thinking of visiting the chicken balloting was delicious.

Our first time there and the meal and service was excellent and we would recommend Amigos to anyone.

A big hut that serves average fare at over average prices. Take your own food and drink when visiting the falls.

I’ve been looking forward to coming to Amigos since Lockdown 2.0. We tried for my birthday but unfortunately they were closed. So instead we had a delayed Mother’s Day meal. Trust us to book on one of the hottest days, despite the ceiling fans going it was so warm. However don’t let that deter you from how tasty the food is. The service was great and all rules adhered to. I just love how the decor fits in with the type of restaurant it is even to the point I got sent the link of where they get their prints and aprons.

Staff were busy but very friendly and attentive Food was delicious and wish my belly held more. Lovely drinks had by all and something a little different on the menu. Loved the décor and finishing too. Will definitely be returning soon.

What a lovely place to eat! The staff were fantastic and the food was brilliant! As we had to preorder, the food came out really quick, after we has finished eating we were able to have a drink in the outside area - which was lovely on a summers evening! Would definitely recommend.

Great food as always

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Lewis’s last night. The menu has wonderful variety with some great vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options too. Don’t worry, it’s not all veggie! The meat options are stunning! The kids menu is perfect for little ones and the staff are pleasant and professional. We were greeted promptly and all the food was absolutely delicious. It is clear that much thought and passion had gone into making this tiny gem one of the area’s loveliest restaurants. We can’t wait to return!
