Grand At Grasmere – GrasmereLove this place. A real Lakeland Inn located in Elterwater a perfect spot. The weather was far from perfect so lunch was great to escape the torrent. Fine Cumbrian Ales and hearty food. My chicken, ham and leak pie was spot on and the wife enjoyed the soup. The Britannia Inn is a must if in the Langdales!

I just can't believe we had to pay good hard earned money for that food. This is obviously why we were one of two tables. Please don't waste your money.....

The Ship Inn – UlverstonGreat pub in a great location on the riverside at Pooley Bridge Penrith. The Crown In has one of the best beer gardens I have sat in on a lovely summers day with the kids playing in the water. Enjoyed the local Ullswater ale too.
The Crown Inn – Pooley BridgeAnother great pub in Pooley Bridge. Packed on Saturday afternoon.We sat in the beer garden while the kids played on the slide. Great pint of Jennings bitter and a fine scampi with chunky chips. Spoiled for choice in these parts!
