The Priest Hole – AmblesideTop quality food & wide choice of dishes. This all you can eat buffet style Restaurant is the best I have ever come across. We were lucky to get in though so booking is recommended at weekends.

The Dun Horse Inn – KendalExcellent. I ate at Postilion last night and it was the best meal I have ever had. We came across the restaurant by chance, but what a find! We decided to go for the 3 course menu, which was £15 per person (but plenty of choice). My boyfriend and I ordered different dishes from the menu, both our starters, main courses and desserts were all really delicious. The presentation of the food was also exceptional. Atmosphere and service was excellence - a real bargain for £15 each. Will definitely be going back.
