We a had fabulous Sunday dinner at baileys restaurant Service is always good and food is delicious Many thanks again Clare
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonBeautiful setting and the food was excellent — fresh, flavourful, and well presented. The only drawback was the service, which felt rushed and didn’t allow enough time to enjoy the meal. Overall, a great spot, but after looking forward to a relaxing meal we left a little disappointed.
The Two Hares – GlossopWe enjoyed a lovely roast dinner on Sunday, the food was outstanding and service amazing. The staff were very friendly and we had a fabulous time, I would highly recommend it. Thank you.
The Two Hares – GlossopVisited the cafe at Renishall hall and gardens yesterday. Lovely food , wonderful staff and great atmosphere. Will be back in Spring when you open up again
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldVisited yesterday with family, 8 people who really enjoyed the fantastic food, absolutely brilliant, attentive service and a great drinks selection. We were looked after from the minute we walked through the door. Great venue!!
The Two Hares – GlossopDined here and order the roast beef for Sunday Lunch. Absolutely delicious ,pound for pound the best Sunday lunch in Buxton by a country mile. From the quality of the food, to the way it is served on a wooden block was absolutely top notch. Excellent, professional staff who epitomised the high standards in every area at the restaurant. Thank you!
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonBest pub in Derbyshire. All home cooked tasty meals in a superb setting. It was like stepping back 200 years. Decor was epic! The warm cosy fires and the friendly staff made it the perfect day out. Highly recommend.
The Old Gate Inn – MatlockVisited with my elderly mum in a wheelchair and had a lovely Christmas lunch . The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble . A really nice afternoon with a relaxed atmosphere . Will come again soon and recommend it to anyone. Many thanks again
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldFabulous food, lovelly cocktails and great service, highly recommend
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonLovely afternoon tea yesterday. Beautifully presented and huge! The sandwiches were delicious and the fresh fruit was just what was needed after all the cakes. The leftovers were put into containers for us to finish later
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – Chesterfield7 of us had our Christmas lunch here. The tables looked lovely..the room was warm. Only 2 of us had starters..we then had a lengthy wait for mains. So as 5 had not ordered starters the 1 hour wait was disappointing( from the time we had the table booked). We all thought the turkey and vegetables were tasty. We had to ask for cranberry sauce. It was only day 2 of Xmas menus..so maybe the kitchen having problems. We had to ask for coffees at the end well after finishing desserts.
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldWe have visited Renishaw cafe on many occasions and have always enjoyed their food but up until now we have never had an afternoon tea , I decided to book it for my wife’s 60th , and it was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were truly delightful, we will definitely be booking again and would like to pass on our gratitude to all the staff who made our visit special , thanks again
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldI took my wife here and was plesently suprised. I had the rib eye (seasoned well) and chips, with bree and bacon balls to start. the Wife had the featherblade beef. Both were great meals. The wine was good and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The service was classy. There was live music downstairs, I think his name was Michael Dell. Good guitarist, played some really well picked songs, songs you could sing along to, not cringey at all! Very well delivered. Really enjoyed the whole night.
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonLovely birthday Sunday lunch with my family and Dottie our Springer spaniel. Great venue, super friendly staff and amazing food. Thank you for your 5* gluten free extras
The Two Hares – GlossopSuperb Sunday dinner, 3 beef, 1 chicken and 1 gammon. All served with Greens, spuds and roasties. Extras were pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese, lots of rich gravy. The staff were very welcoming and the fire gave the pub a cosy atmosphere.
The Old Gate Inn – MatlockAbsolutely delish. Party of 3. 2 of us had the seabass and 1 steak pie. Compliments to the chef. Entertainment later on was 1st class. Thanks for a lovely evening
