Attended the Metricks collab Steak night. Exceeded expectations in every respect. Learnt so much and food was divine. O my drawback was getting too full so I couldn’t polish everything off.
The Two Hares – GlossopWent with 3 friends because having been once before we knew we would have lovely choice and a great meal. Perfect getaway from the bustle outside. Spacious , comfortable and unhurried. We were not disappointed, and really would recommed if you live in or are visiting Buxton.
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonDelicious!!! Food was really tasty, fresh and hot. Our table of four all left clean plates. And although we were rather full we couldn’t resist pudding!! My favourite pub. The service is excellent. Would highly recommend.
The Old Gate Inn – Matlock4 of us went on 1/11/25. In short: Food was excellent, we all had 3 courses each (which we don't usually do!). Entertainment was also excellent, which contributed to the great atmosphere!

Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonA group of nine of us came to celebrate a double birthday on Saturday night, with us bringing some friends who had not visited before. Most of us had two - three courses and every single dish was outstanding. The service from Nadia was fantastic and every member of the team was lovely. This is a fantastic restaurant with a very high standard of food prepared with the best ingredients. We have visited many times and will continue to do so. Keep up the great work
