Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonDelicious food. Fast and friendly service and knowledgeable staff. We’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always been a wonderful experience.
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonSunday lunch for my wife and I was superb; the food was outstanding........tasty, plentiful (!) and so well presented. The staff were friendly, always smiling and also so knowledgeable about the food and how it was cooked. Other reviewers have suggested that you'll need a very large appetite to accommodate a starter, main course (roast) and a dessert..............they're not wrong. We chose from the "mains" only and that was more than ample. Delightful staff, great food and so good we've booked again. Well worth a visit.

The Two Hares – GlossopThe 2 hares is a gem. Went on a Friday night and the rock bass in parsley butter sauce was excellent. The sauce was bursting with flavour and the fish beautifully cooked. The food is always excellent and the service is fantastic. Recommended
The Two Hares – GlossopFood is really good quality and definitely worth a visit for that. Service we received was slow, thought it was because it was Valentines but other tables getting their food within 15 minutes of ordering and ours was closer to 40 minutes and after we’d been at the table for an hour. Not particularly impressed with that and unlikely to return based on this issue.
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonPerfect night for Valentine’s The steak was gorgeous and the chips perfectly cooked All the staff were lovely The singer was really good and made us stay all night Thank you

Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonWe visited Baileys before the theatre at Buxton Opera House. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. There were 4 of us and we were shown to a lovely table upstairs. My husband and I both had the Baileys pie, which was venison. I substituted mash for the chips. Our friends chose the sea bass and a sirloin steak. The staff were friendly and helpful and recommended the wine to accompany our meal, which was a lovely Malbec from Argentina. All the meals were beautifully presented, hot and delicious. My friend said the steak was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonWe booked Sunday lunch at short notice based on reviews we'd seen and we weren't disappointed. A lovely roast dinner with a choice of 4 meats, a pleasant environment and excellent service. My roast lamb was cooked to perfection, succulent and tasty and the accompanying veg was delicious too.
Baileys Bar and Restaurant – BuxtonA very warm welcome from the staff on our arrival. The table set with a high chair for our grandson. Attentive service, beautiful meal quickly served, a good choice on the menu.We really enjoyed our visit, and will certainly visit again soon. We arrived at 12.30, having booked our table , it was quite quiet, but did get busy about 1.15, do advise booking if you are eating and want a nice table near the fire too! Fabulous place!!!!
