Dont go there its! Stay away!.....That way it wont be fully booked when i next want to go!!!!

My husband took me to Il Casita to celebrate our wedding anniversary and wow, this is what I call a restaurant! Most Italian restaurants in England are just pasta and pizza but this was just like being back in Italy again with good food and a nice wine list. The cutlery and glasses were spotless! Excellent value for money and we shall certainly be back again very soon.

Just rang the famous Harry's to book a table and was basically told to sod off. I was informed that he was unable to take my booking because he was busy and he only answered the phone so it would stop ringing! As someone who has worked in the catering industry as well other service industry I am appalled that people can find this acceptable! A very bad first impression

The food here is fairly expensive but worth everything! It is so delicious and creamy, and always served with a smile by the very friendly staff. The place is nicely decorated, and in the warmer months there is a lovely courtyard out the back. I will love them forever since they gave us all free shots for my birthday, anyway!

I have dined at the Sloop Inn many times when visiting the gorgeous South Hams region and have been delighted with the service and food. However, to my dismay, early in November having looked forward to a scrumptious fish and chips at the Sloop, I was very disappointed. The fish batter was hard and over cooked causing the fish to be dried out and the chips, well the less said the better. We asked the waitress for tatare sauce which did not appear, we asked again and had almost finished our meal before it appeared.

We had a great meal here, good pub food. There were many things on the menu that were delicious!

Lovely stylish gastro pub. We went on a dark winter evening but I'm sure it would be beautiful to sit by the lake in the summer. Food was good, Decor fab and staff were friendly. We'll be back.

We hadn't been in the Burrator for some years and were pleased to see they have had a lovely refurb. They place looks very fresh and yet still cosy. We didn't eat but the menu looked very good and was reasonably priced. The bar man was very friendly and there was a pub quiz on at the time. We were told they have live bands often and also offer free drinks for the driver which we thought was a very responsible thing to do. We'll be visiting again.

Excellent Cuisine! Choose from the Menu or the Special Board. Cosy little pub with attractive beer Garden and, if you are a smoker, an excellent outdoor heated Smoking Area. Prices are also very competitive on both food and drinks. Highly Recommended.

Best place in Town by far. Opened in August 2008 serving fantastic tapas for lunch and impressive two/three course dinners set high standards, the likes of which we've not seen in these parts before. Chef/owner, James Duckett has come from Spain and has an impressive career in top restaurants in London and internationally - and it shows. Try out the inexpensive tapas at lunch to get a feel for his dishes.

Opened only in August 2008 with new chef/proprietor. At last, a great chef and a top drawer restaurant in Barnstaple - the best for miles around. Fantastic tapas at lunchtime and mouth watering three course dinners that compare with top London venues and at a fraction of the price. A well kept secret still thanks to the Council's decision to convert the once vibrant Strand area into a traffic and people free zone! A short walk from the High Street.

Love, Love, LOVE the breakfasts in here, plenty of very nicely cooked food and what an atmosphere! The music alone would keep us returning time and time again. I had the 'Americana' breakfast with two egg, bacon and sausage and two large pancakes with a little jug of maple syrup. It's just right and I didn't eat again all day!

Fantastic! We had an exceptional meal last night. The food is simple, but delicious and all organic. By the end of the meal we felt full, but not overly so as the food is lovely and light. The staff are really lovely and knowledgeable and really add to the whole experience. They were even charming on the phone when I booked and ensured I knew where to park etc. Will definitely be back.

This place was great. We ate there 3 times while on holiday in woolacombe this year. Great food, fresh and really tasty and not too pricey either.

We visited this wonderful place a couple of years ago and we had the most wonderful meal ever. We are going back to Woolacombe shortly and will be booking a table for sure. try it, it really is great home cooked food

We have eaten at this Bistro for many years,also been well catered for family occasions. Front of house Hazel is most helpful with advice on fish of the day and any specials. Wine list excellent and will not break the bank. Sense of humour in a relaxed setting. Chef husband Gordon prides himself on local produce and a good selection for choice. Decor interesting and a good talking point too.

My favourite restaurant in Plymouth. No fuss, just great Seafood and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Best chips in Plymouth too - freshly made and just as they should be! Remember to book - it's not a huge place and they get really busy.
